Hiya,

I'm curious about using "tank" style attys and carts with the FS eGo. I see it comes with a regular atty (basic, universal 510, I assume?), but would like to know what would be needed to make it a tank system.

Basically I guess I'm just needing to know if all "tankomizers" are created equal, or if some are different and should be avoided. It also gets a little confusing when I see some online shops still just calling them "atomizers" and "carts," which makes it hard to tell which items one would actually need to buy.

I don't think the FS eGo will work with most tank atomizers. I've tried it on older versions of the tank and it works ok, but it looks like the newer versions are slightly deeper and will not seat all the way. I'm waiting for a reply from the manufacturer to see if they will be solving this issue, and also working on a compatibility list in case they don't.

As with quite a few others, I'm wanting to get kits from you to use for getting some friends off of analogs, so if you've got even one type/brand/location to suggest for a tank-like atomizer and blanks that have worked for you, I'd really like to hear it. :) That compatibility list is definitely a good idea.

(I don't suppose the tank/atty stuff for Magmas and Infernos from Volcano is anything you've tried before, is it? That would be awfully convenient, since I buy supplies from them regularly.)

Oh, just to be clear, when you say it won't seat all the way, are you referring to the tankomizer, or the tanks going into the tankomizer? If the latter, it wouldn't be too expensive to try a few different ones from various shops, I suppose. (But I definitely couldn't afford to go on a compatible tankomizer hunt!) :)

I have an update for this... I just got (won!!) an FS eGo kit a short time ago, and while the eGo Tank attys won't work with it, the new 510-T ones do!! :thumb: And the cone fits over the atty/cart with no problem.

I just received a couple of them yesterday to try out, so I'm not sure how long they will last yet... but the vapor is great and I think they actually give more flavor than the eGo-T ones, and so far no leaking... Plus the best part is that you can use them on ANY 510 threaded batt!!

Hope that helps!! :vapor:

Yeah, I've been using my Magma tank on it with no problem, and that's just a rebranded 510-T. I did try to thread an eGo type cone atty on it on, and it appears the problem is simply that it won't reach. I think it'll work if we were to just add-on a 510-to-510 adapter (aka a 510 extender) to the FS eGo. That would allow the connections to reach each other so they could be threaded normally.

In fact, here's what I've done:

I've taken my eGo-T and my eGo batteries and connected them to 510-T attys and tank carts. Many, many, many times. It will/should work.

We are talking about the FS-eGo batts here, which are not the same as the Joye ones... and to answer raj_dr25's question... that is correct, as I stated in my earlier post.

Btw, I just LOVE the 510-T attys and they lasted WAY longer than the eGo's... longer than most regular attys, too, and are easy to clean!! :thumb:
