Using TC on dual coil clapton wire 316L

Noob quetion
1. Does clapton 316L need to be spaced or tight if we are running on TC?

2. Does it need to be dryburn first? I have some exp when dryburn SS wire it will kick back from TC to power mode.

I am planning using Q Class Mini. Pls give some guidance for a noob.

1. I use tight and have no problem. Try it both ways and see which you prefer.

2. I pulse my coils to adjust, strum, and all the other stuff to make sure it's heating evenly. I don't glow them to bright red or anything, but some orange is OK for me. That's also the route I go to clean my coils when I rewick.
