Using the "juice," to refill....any tips/tricks?

I have a vapor4life ecig. I LOVE it. I've been using it since March. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge they can give me when it comes to refilling a cartridge? The website describes in brief detail how to refill them but I figure someone on this website can give me some helpful hints. Thanks!

One other question, the website says the premium cool cartridges are more popular than the WOW ones. I prefer the WOW cartridges. I am curious as to why you prefer one over the other. I think I get a way better throat hit with the WOW cartridges.

Cartriges are very easy to fill - should look like a slushy or slurpee but no bubbles on top. Cartomizers can be filled using the condom method or a syringe. The Condom Method works best if you also spin them, it's called the Taryn Spin.

There are a wealth of videos on utube for both methods. Hope that this helps!

I was hoping Dormouse would see your post, she's an expert on the WOW and cool carts.

Everyone has their own methods- this is how I do it.

-take off the end cap, tilt the carto and drip about 10 drops in.
-give it a thermometer shake to work the juice down into the carto
-5 more drops, shake
-repeat until it can't take any more juice-slushy on top or you get a few drops out of the bottom
-let it sit 15 minutes or so until juice is fully absorbed.
wipe off the bottom, put it on your battery and enjoy!

The most important thing is not to over fill them.
The is the quickest way to kill a auto battery is to have liquid get in to them.

At first fill the cartomizer off the battery and check for over fill at the battery connector of the cartomizer.
And wipe down if needed.
After a wile you will get the hang of it.

Watched a few of the vids, and found them quite informative, if a bit outdated now. I have a Volt, and it has the silicone tips as opposed to the hard plastic ones. Other than that, good stuff, including the cart cleaning ones. The kit I got has 5 carts with 0% nic in them, so once I vape them to empty, I refill with my own juice. Working both now, using both batteries that came with the kit. Eventually, I'll be able to refill all 5 carts and be good to go.

I just take the end off and drip a few drops on until the fill material looks saturated, then let it sit for an hour.

I'm glad I didn't know it was supposed to be hard until after I'd done it.

Anyone have any tips on filling the larger size carto's??

Basically, I've just been tilting them to the side, adding a bit at a time while turning, but this takes quite a bit of time, and using the clear type, you cans see it doesn't penetrate quite so well. Syringe method works ok, but would like a better way...

For regular sized cartos/ carts I use the method posted by swedishfish but for the larger Mega or XL I use the condom method. Day 15 on a Mega DC carto via condom and still going strong at 4 ml per day.
Edit: when the carto air passage seem clogged I use a long hatpin and clean out the air passage carefully sliding in in and out and wiping on a paper towel. Lots of gunk and liquids will come out. Credit to Osmiity although he uses rubber? tipped toothpicks- I found them to wide/ thick. Been meaning to post a vid on the entire process but haven't had the time.

I have a small syringe that originally held dental bleach, that has a very fine long plastic "needle" type tip. Would I be able to insert it and inject the juice without having to pop off the top? Maybe pop the top once to remove the little o-ring thing if I have one?

Those type syringes, or insulin syringes, do not work because they have too small of a gauge. You need a bigger needle. I use either an 18gauge or 16. Both of these will work with PG juices as well as thick VG juices. I'd also recommend getting an inch and a half needle if you can. Then you can use it even if your using big cartos. If your using reg size cartos a 1inch needle will be fine and will go all the way to the bottom, but for the XL cartos I find the inch and a half to be better. Many vendors sell syringes as well as needles. Liberty flights has both and sells blunt tip needles. While the blunt tip ones are safer, I actually like the regular sharp ones better. I find they don't get caught as easily on the filler compared to the blunt tip ones.
I don't know what PV you use, but if it's 510 you can get cartos from CCV and he sends a free syringe with all carto purchases. That's what I use to fill my Ressurectors and it's perfect.

While the condom method def works well for regular size cartos, I find it doesnt work ad well for the XL ones. A syringe is def the quickest ad easiest way. Like ou said dripping into them takes quite a while. With a syringe You don't have to wait at all for the juice I settle and it ensures they are filled properly. I'm not home right now but when I get home I'll send you detailed instructions on how to fill XL cartos with a syringe.
