Using two rcr123a batteries in Lavatube

I am thinking this is a bad idea, but my son keeps bugging me about it. He just got home from having back surgery and wants to vape. I have an extra Lavatube but only have rcr123a batteries as 'extra' batts. So you know what I'm wondering ... is it too risky to use in my Lavatube? I told him no, that he'd probably be making a pipe bomb, but he keeps saying it will work. I need to know for sure. Will it safely work?

I can't find 18650's where I live, Akron (the town that was). I really do think it's a bad idea, I feel bad for him being in pain and recovering from back surgery but if something happened I'd feel worse.

Or if you are close to me I could loan you some. Does Lavatube take flat or button top?

Never heard of them, I'll have to see if they're open on Saturday, thanks. The only place that's closer is a really expensive "store" with really cheap product.

Says open Saturday 10am-7pm. They have 18650s on their website. I'd check them out!
