Okay folks, Ive got to vent a little
and explain. I have my vaping supplies mailed to me at work. I own my business, I am here at the office more than I am at home, and Id rather have my supplies delivered at work instead having packages left by my door when they dont fit in the mail box at home.
My problem is, the mail service at my office has become so poor, that getting mail delivered correctly to my office is becoming a crap-shoot. Over the course of this year fully one half of my orders of vaping supplies has been delivered to someone else first. I have always ultimately received the orders, though I have one missing as I type this, and the resolution of this case is uncertain. Orders that should have arrived in three to four days take many, many more days to finally reach me.
On my latest order of juice, I paid extra for Priority Mail service, thinking, hoping that as Priority Mail, my order would receive a little more attention to detail and I would receive it without any problems. What a pipe dream! I am now out a fair amount of money and my juice Bobas Bounty, Gorilla Juice, Blend 4, Peach Hype, and Bees Knees, is in who knows whos hands. Who knows if Ill ever see it!
I know I could pay even more and have the order insured, or have a signature required for delivery, but the prices for these additional services would add such a significant extra cost to the orders that the cost of the supplies is more than I want to pay. And, I see no reason to think that the situation would improve anyway. The thing is, I shouldnt have to do this to receive something that resembles competent mail service. I mean damn, this is reading the recipients address and name correctly, it aint rocket science.
Compounding the problem, Ive noticed that most of favorite vendors no longer offer delivery through UPS or FedEx as options.
So, my questions are...
1. Am I the only one having this problem?
2. Is there anything I could do to improve the odds of successful delivery of my orders?
3. Is there anything I could do to get my vendors to offer alternative delivery options such UPS and FedEx that are much, much, much more reliable?
4. Or, am I doomed to this problem for eternity, or at least until the local post office branch hires some competent personnel who can read, write and comprehend at an elementary school level?

Dude, get your head out of my mail and back on your job.
