V.W.D (Vaping While Driving) - my paranoia?

I tend to keep vaping in my car on the down-low here in Memphis because everybody has a cell phone and I think if they see me hitting a small box in my hand that one of them would call the PoPo thinking they're turning in a nitwit hitting a crackpipe while driving. Anybody else feel this way or am I just paranoid?

We've had a few threads already regarding people getting hassled by the police with LE thinking they were cell phones or crack pipes.

We should all be cautious, IMO. That's why I use my PT in the car (no LED) and I also carry around the cards that V4L sends so that I can hand cards to people who aren't aware of PV's.

I haven't had any problems yet and I have been vaping for about 8 months. But then again I use a 510.

I have heard of only one person that had problems with the law over vaping while driving. I would direct you to the thread if I could remember what it was called. I am sure someone will.

I know what you mean though. I also get kinda nervous vaping and driving. Its not white, but black and I wonder if they are thinking what she has in her mouth.

Maybe my next mod should be a PT that looks like a headset and vape thru the mic!!

Honestly, I don't worry about it at all. I vape pretty much everywhere that I am able, and I don't hide it. I've converted many smokers because of it.

As long as I am doing nothing wrong or illegal, why should I worry? I don't have anything to hide, and cops can feel free to search my car all they want. There is nothing to find.

The thread I read (and can't find) had to do with the cops searching someone's bag, and not believing that it was just a PV.

I have nothing to hide either, but it's embarrassing and humiliating and it would probably happen when I had to be somewhere...IOW, I don't want the hassle.

I think the more you try to hide it or stealth vape, the more suspicous it looks. Also, maybe some thought as to what mod you use while driving. Just vape like you did when you smoked, no worries and usually no problems. Sometimes looking guilty is enough to get pulled over.

I have not been stopped but I try to not to vape whe I see them. I live in a town that is slow moving with things like PV's and the cops here will pull you over for anything! I do have a friend who's son-inlaw is a cop here, and he know's what they are. I also keep info in my car about my 510.

I just get antsy in the car when people give me "The look" kinda like I'm doing something wrong and should be reported...I envision them calling 911 on their cell phone(this(cell phones) is illegal in some states) to call the cops with a plate number & all of a sudden I get pulled over and they get the ticket not me LOL

I vape everywhere, all the time. I was on a road trip last week and that took me through Memphis...vaped all the way through.

I have been vaping for over a year now and one of my favorite times to vape is while driving. I have had some strange looks...(a granny with the funny pipe)... I carry a card in my purse from a couple of my fav vendors just in case.

I use a mod but I dont drip and drive, I use a cartridge for driving any distance.
