Hey guys, been on the e-cigs for 15 days n only had around 6 smokes since, workin better than any patch/drug ive taken previously...

Just wondering if V4L cartoz and tanks are compatible with V2 batteries, as i did a $300 order with V2 including a few batteries and their incompitent customer service f'd me round for 5 weeks before i recieved the order in australia, as such i will only be using the V2 batts i currently have with V4L carts etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Two of my friends have been using v4l carts with their v2's for at least a month now. They're both 3.7 (iirc) volt batteries, so it should be a non-issue. The Ohm's refers to the resistance of the coil in the cartos. I guess if you're really concerned, get a plain v4l single logo battery just in case since they're fairly cheap.

On a side note, did you replace the carto in your tank when you bought it?

yeah i know they're 808 thread, i was more worried about the resistance as i believe the ohms are far higher on v2 batts!
I got the titan diamond batt specifically for use with the V4L tank, and ordered a heap of blank vapor king carts and am thinking the V2 batts may burn them out??

The lower ohms (resistance) the carto is, the hotter it gets. I wouldn't suggest using low resistance on a KR808, as it can kill the battery.

For me, cartos around 2.5 ohms seem to hit the sweet spot on a KR808. V2's cartos are around 2.7 ohms. Smokeless Image's cartos are around 2.5 ohms.

Low resistance cartos are safe on big batteries that can handle them.

Nah, just recieved it todau and its workin great! Why? You had problems with it?

My manual is misfiring sometimes, which is known to happen with the stock DC carto. I've had it about a week and it is becoming more prevalent. Electronic Cigarette | E-Cigarette | E-Cigs | Vapor4Life is suggested to make sure that it works. Not sure why they ship with an incompatible carto in them. At least the replacements are cheap. Otherwise I love my tank. the flavor seems better and less filling is awesome.

I've used both. The V2 and V4L systems are totally compatible: the cartos and batteries are quite similar. Well, the V4L WOW cartos are quite similar to the V2 (although I think V4L is more consistant). The V4L CoolCarts have a higher resistance and are much cooler.

The DCT from V4L comes with a 1.5 ohm carto. I got one and it did work with the KR8 batts, for awhile. It is not recommended for the small cig-like batteries. It will drain any batt less than 450 mah quite quickly by drawing too much current and has been known to permanantly damage them. V4L recommends replacing the DualCoil carto with one of their higher resistance single coil cartos (either 2.0 or 3.0 ohms). A lot of people like the higher temp vapor and greater volume of vapor with the LR carto and were willing to either get a bigger battery or replace the small ones much more often to get it.
