I have read in this forum many times that I couldn't use my V4L carts on my (over priced) GreenSmoke batteries. Thought I would try it myself, and to my surprise, IT WORKS!!! So maybe it's not a total loss on that $140 GS starter kit after all. 
Granted, they don't fit perfectly, but its functional.
I am using the new V4L premium carts. Don't know if that makes a difference, but seems fine for now. If there is any warnings anyone has as to why I shouldn't continue doing this, please respond.
