Just made it to the family thread tonight. Had great Indian food for our weekly dinner out with friends tonight. Oh, and ....

Oh and I forgot. One of the folks we have friday dinner with was vaping on her new kit tonight!! Only two more to go to "influence" to switch from the nasties, but the peer pressure just grew by one and now I have help.

Love the suirrel pics Wader!! Those are awesome! Squirrels are the most energetic creatures! My mother-in-law rescued some babies from a downed tree once, they were so darn cute!
Also great news from you Morandir sir!! Hope it all continues to get better! Have they released you to work yet?
I try not to get into the drama. It saddens me that it is going on, so don't take my ignoring it as not caring. I just want this to continue to be my happy place so I can't dwell on the bad stuff or I wouldn't come around anymore
Speaking of happy...when I wake up tomorrow my husband won't be home because he will be at WORK!!!! Today was a very good day for us! The job that's 1.5 hours away was pushed back a week, so his temp agency hooked him up with a week-long job downtown (30 min. away)!!!! So he should be starting the other one in a week! Also, we finally got our foster dog to the vet, so she will be able to attend adoptions this weekend and hopefully find a forever home! The poor thing. She has mental issues (doesn't take change well, discipline absolutely devistates her and she has serious separation anxiety) She was adopted last July and after 1.5 months they brought her back. It's taken her nearly a year to get over that ordeal But I feel we are more prepared to warn any potential adopters this time. I hope we can find a special one that is willing to love her, issues and all!
And there are more rumors of that puppy I mentioned a while back...we will see what happens with that.

@Harmony...We had a few foster dogs years ago b/4 we adopted our beloved Jacques. He was a pure bred poodle from the shelter & he lived to be 18. I miss my buddy
I recommend shelter dogs to everyone who asks...all they want is to be loved.

Im going out for coffee with a friend.I cant drive or ride my bike anymore because of balance and vision issues associated with my head stuff sooo Im going to ride my sons electric scooter,lol.It should be easier because my feet reach flat on the ground better.We shall see,lol!Wish me luck!At least it will be fun,hope Hubs doesnt see me.He will freak out totally.If I listened to him Id be bored to death.I need to have some fun.12:30 Ill be blasting off,lol!
