HELLO. I am so happy to see some in the fam are getting some great news and/or feeling better.
Well I've been very busy lately but hopefully will have more time to post again! Spent some time lurking when I had the chance. Got more bad news on my Dad's cancer, moved one kid out of college apt (graduated), went through orientation for my youngest to move into college in the fall. Helped my sis move out of her house because she's gettin divorced and foreclosed on.... oh the fun we have! Basically, if I'ld write a book, everybody would think it was fiction. Anyway onward and hopefully upward! Sanity really is overated! Should I be considering on order consisting of the tequila, beer, and any other liquor flavored vapes???? lol
Naw, laughter is the best medicine. So is a positive attitude right? Sorry for the long rant. Carry on purples....

Good morning purples! Ouch.. shh... head hurts this morning. Last night was the hen night for the hen I didn't know. We had a Blast!! There may have been some white wine involved and I was dancing until around 2 this morning AND a 22 year old tried to pick me up <- that made my year, that did!! Need to concentrate on de-hangovering myself since my neighbor has invited us to her town council campaign kick-off. Politics and hangovers do not mix.

Good morning, dear purples! I hate having a day off that involves work. I have to get my prescriptions in order, I need to get my oil changed, and I have that inevitable laundry to do. Laundry in a hotel on Sunday is a challenge to say the least. And I need to go buy diet food, because I have gained weight, weight, and weight. In that order.

Frankly, I'd rather play here.

Momma Joyce sounds like you have a full day ahead of you, sad you have to use your day off to catch up from work and can't truly just do nothing. Glad you could stop in for a bit though.

That week-long job the dh got...well, they hired 32 temps to do the work for a week. Evidently that was overkill and they did all the work in one day. So he's out of work for (hopefully only) another week. That far away job is supposed to start a week from tomorrow. But I'll believe it when I see it! Hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday! I'm going to try to get some stuff done today...we will see.

Yeah, I told him to look at the bright side! He doesn't have to pull out staples for an entire week!

Although he's going to be a "Document Specialist" at the other job too. His job responsibilities include scanning documents and saving them on a computer.

Sure did Ms. Harmony, been uneventful thus far. Using my breaks to play a little catch up and cool down (no ac in the truck, 96 outside). Hope all goes through with your husband's job. Really think finding that xbox was a turn around point.

Its a quiet day here today.My 14yr old son got a job as a mate on a fishing charter boat.Hard work for a kid but he wants to do it.He amazes me.He is also dog sitting for a few days.Makes me proud.
