What a gig! I worked in a Pizza restaurant with buddies at 16. Paid for the gas for school... "and the beer" SSHH! lol.
Sure did Ms. Harmony, been uneventful thus far. Using my breaks to play a little catch up and cool down (no ac in the truck, 96 outside). Hope all goes through with your husband's job. Really think finding that xbox was a turn around point.

Momma Joyce sounds like you have a full day ahead of you, sad you have to use your day off to catch up from work and can't truly just do nothing. Glad you could stop in for a bit though.

Throat's all gummed up and mucousy, so I can't taste crud. I reckon now's the time to puff on those Gourmet Vapor flavors I created that taste like the southern end of a north-bound mule.
And what happened to that cold front coming in? It was 85 here this morning at 9:30 AM, about 94 out there now and so humid I feel like I have Niagara Falls cascading down the back of my shirt.
Got locked in mortal combat with a copperhead up on the ridge earlier while clearing off the hill. Wife got stung by a hornet on her pinky finger and it has swollen up to look like a plump sausage. Nature hates us.
But I'm bound and intent on getting out there and grilling a steak this evening come hell or high water.

Hope your grilled steak comes out better than mine Keener. My very last piece of venison from November's kill went on the grill yesterday and was forgotten about and promptly burned (never should have answered the phone). Oh well, it was the only piece ruined out of the entire deer but did it have to be the last one?
We got blessed relief from the heat a couple of days ago and today is just perfect; low 70's, low humidity and a gentle breeze. What a relief from those high 90's days.
Sounds like a cool job for your son Keyzy. My son is caddying this summer and really enjoys it. From the stories he bring home about the golfers and the caddy's, I told him he should submit them as a script for Caddyshack II, lol. Have a good evening all.

Keyzy and Tracker, bet your son's jobs will give them some awesome experiences even though hard work is required! Kudos to them for accepting the challenge. You both should be proud.

Survived it Ms. SAG, drank close to 2 gallons of water today thanks to it. It's finally storming here, so think the front has indeed moved in.

And I need to go buy diet food, because I have gained weight, weight, and weight. In that order.

I'm going to sleep in tomorrow. When my boss asks me why I'm late, I'll tell 'em, "I am not, the clock I ordered from California off E-Bay woke me up right on the dot."
What's scary is the more I ponder on this, the more I actually want to try this excuse just to catch their reaction.

Was going ice skating this morning, but got to the rink to find the ice was cr#p yet again
so didn't stay. Went to gym & walked/rode instead. Just not the same. Haven't skated for 2+ weeks now. Definitely getting rusty. Friend broke her foot in 3 places yesterday, falling over skating 
Poor thing. I have been lucky so far.We've had a long weekend for the Queen's Birthday, delaying postal deliveries by a day. Grrrrr.
It's almost 3 weeks since one delivery was shipped, 2 weeks since the one after that. Getting edgy now. Oh well, maybe they'll both arrive together, which will make it even more like Christmas
