Well so far it's working great except for one issue i'm working on. I washed a bunch at once along with some barely used tequila and margarita cartos that i flat out despised. But they all managed to pick up the taste! So I've had them all in there in a vodka bath on low agitation since last night. I'll take them out after work this evening and let you know how it goes

Oh goody! I was wondering about the transfer of flavors, if any. I thought vodka would neutralize it all. If there was juice left in the tequila/margarita cartos, maybe they should have been spun out first? How many cartos are you washing at once? I only have about 15 I could wash.

Here's a thought for ya', and maybe I'm the only one this happens to but I'm going to assume that you've been plagued by it before, as well: Ever notice how nobody calls the landline telephone until you're in the middle of something important in the bathroom? That's where I get peace and quiet, relax a bit, and then brrrrrrrrnnnnggg~brrrrrrnnnnggg! Argh!!!

my cell only rings when im busy lol .....or in a store not wanting to talk ...my landline here in a rural area manages to get every possible nuisance call ,much more then in the city even tho i am on the "do not call " list ..i only use it for emergencies

Well, it's still too early to say for sure until they dry, but I think it worked great! No smell left at all and the polyfill looks as white as a new blank carto. To answer your question, I did 10. I probably could do more, but it was a manageable number for my small UC

kris --make sure you either spin them out really well before leaving them to dry or put them in a food dehydrator. I've heard that if you just let them air dry gunk (bacteria) can grow in them eeewww

Evening fam! Just checkin in to see what everyone is up to. Tired day today...was so busy yesterday and it all caught up to me.

Hmm, maybe the ultrasonic cleaner I bought isn't a very good one (well I did get it on ebay). It only goes for 3 minutes at a time, and according to the instructions, that's what it's meant to do. So far I've only tried it on some jewellery, and honestly couldn't tell any difference. Only reason I haven't tried cartos is that then I have to wait for them to dry and that seems to take days (I have hand & arm problems, so taryn spin isn't an option for me). I think I will try it on some cool carts I have that had Wowboy Peppermint in - that flavour is hard to get rid of. I'll go do that now while I think of it. Think I'll try some in water & some in vodka.

just hook up a lanyard to a fan and let it do the spin for ya lol

I was nervous to try this, but I saw it recommende here and it worked! I put the cartos on a cookie sheet in the oven set to just under 200 for about half an hour. Battery connection side up. As soon as the carto i'm puffing on is done i should be ready to fill one of the clean ones
