Good Saturday Morning Family.
Computer is still slow...I've cleaned out a bunch of stuff I don't use & later going to de-frag etc. Hopefully on Thanksgiving my son-in-law will take pity on me & see what else can be deleted to speed this thing up (I'm planning on with holding pie). Oh & IE seems to not be able to find my home page ...lol.. Yahooooooooo.... so Safari pops up & takes over. I didn't even know I had Safari, must be from my DH's Ipod.
Welcome back to the nut house Whistles :)

Good morning all 10am here ....
@Iowa ..i am so happy for you ! Thats exciting!
@randa ...we barely knew each other either when Ryan came so we have that in common too .
You must know I am a little outspoken but that was not directed at anyone ,I just dont mean to hurt anyone and most of my friends are outspoken so I dont take things personally here .:) My bro got married at 18 and its been 45 years of marriage so of course there are exceptions ! EVERYONE got married young in the 60's :)
@ Katz ..oh it was short for spaghetti ! lol
my hubbys" boat "is his motorcycle which he waited so long for ...I cant begrudge that ,just worry about cars hurting him ( and deer ) He just turned 55 .
Not much here today ,trying to figure out if its neccesary to do the drive to shop for food today or not :(

Happy weekend, everyone.

Iowa, that is fantastic. How exciting to be able to build something just the way you want it!

Katz and waylon --- my husband's boat/motorcycle is a set of golf clubs! I encourage it as much as I can by buying him new drivers/bags/golf balls. Don't know if it helps his game but he loves it.

Kimberly and Whistles, welcome to the thread. Kimberly you're making me want that Blackjack Berry even more!

Thursday I needed to wear a down coat; today a light jacket. What the heck?

I wonder how Kanza's hubby is doing.........

ugh snow and 30 degree Blackjack Berry juice... this is what I woke up to this morning "i say morning even though it is 3pm since I just got off midnight shifts"

So the juice.... first of all extremely hard to syringe fill when it has been out all day in Minnesota weather.... First reaction once I got it filled tastier then I expected! This is my first round of USA juice from v4l and guess who's back in the running for my go to juice vendor!!

I will leave the review stuff to the experts.... as for now I am gonna go get my snow blower working :)

Wow! had to skim so many posts because I had so much to catch up on...including my sleep :) DH said I slept about 10 straight hours <cheer>

He got home yesterday and he's doing fine :) It was the B/P meds causing the kidney problems so they changed everything around :) It was also causing dizziness, which he had complained about frequently so not that will be resolved :)

Thank you again, dear people, for all of your best wishes :) I hope you could feel the same coming from me...I thought about all of you the entire time this "drama" was happening!

Kanza, that's good news (((hugs)))

So funny; one of the gifts I gave my DH for his birthday was 4 nightshirts I made for him. His reaction: "boat nighties" It's all about boat these days
Now I need to make nighties for myself - mine are so old they're starting to get holes. DH threatens to throw them out. I can't sew for hours a day like I used to, so making anything takes time & can be a bit of a struggle. At least I've got them cut out, so I can do a bit each day now.
Looking forward to going out to dinner tonight! And chocolate cake afterwards. Have a great day all!

Clearly I'm a little outspoken too :p

No worries. Yesterday was a tough day for us married moms. Seems the feminists have it on their minds to aggravate me. :glare:

Glad hubby is good, Kanza! Have you seen him without a controller in his hands since? Or is he a PC guy? Speaking of which, I RENTED Skyrim, and it's a blast!

Wish me luck and send many thoughts of patience and fortitude for the next few weeks. In the next 18 days, I will work 168 hours and miss my family like crazy. I sense some serious crabiness heading this way soon

Awww, M'dir :) Do you ever get to sleep???

Kris, he's a PC guy and just to be a tad "snippy" with my bigger-than-you elf, he started the game over and WHAM! He's already bigger than "tiny," my new name for my elf :p He's having so much fun being home and relaxing :) Glad you rented it but there is no way you can really explore the game in less than a lifetime ;) I've decided they should market it as, "the last game you will ever need...or play!" Seriously!

Thanks again, dear people, for all of your kindness :) I am sounding like a broken record but I actually can't tell you often enough what a great group you are :) So, everyone go HUG yourselves for me ;)
