Eleanor, I fully agree. I even use proper tea spoons often! BTW - I always keep Constant Comment on hand. It was the "good stuff" growing up and a treat. I like a lot of different teas but if I had to choose one, that would be it!

Tee hee. So do I! "All hail the elegant sterling silver Fairfax teaspoon!":laugh:

When I'm not sick, I'd have to say my favorite tea is either Darjeeling or Formosa Oolong, followed closely by Earl Grey!

......I'm really fond of a lychee scented black tea! And Wader, I like to make big jars of sun tea for icing. Yummy!

Hehe.

I "brew" a rather large pitcher of tea daily. And then I Ice it down. 4-5 large glasses plum full of ice daily.

I LOVE Iced tea. It's how I weaned myself off of too much Pepsi.

And while I'm sure the fancier teas are dandy....I buy mine by the box of 100 bags at Aldi's.

That's just how I roll.........

8^)

Oh Wader, completely agree on ICED tea, especially in warm weather -- that's a whole 'nother story! :) But Lisa and I were specifically discussing the merits and proper serving of HOT teas! :p (As a Southerner, tea is a deadly serious subject, ya know! ;):D)

but El it's a happy story! they is happy puppies with love now! take care of yourself, pretty lady
:) I know. And I loved seeing those happy pooches. But it just makes me think of all the other dogs and other animals that are still in caged "solitary." :( (Guess I am a "glass half-empty" sort of person . . . :()

katz, not to worry. They (USPS and your equivalent) can't afford to get too far behind because 2-3 weeks from now all hell breaks loose for them!
hehehe, yep they'll shoot it off to Oz quickly, so it arrives in time for the busiest time here. Barring volcano ash clouds, strikes, etc, it'll be around 2 weeks :glare:
So right after I stock up on batteries, they release new diamond autos? Damn you V4L, damn you all to perdition! Oops, sorry, feeling better now.

Hehe. That's just how I roll.........8^)
Yeah, we've seen pictures of how you roll Wader, and we're still recovering....

Good morning.

Need sleep. Also need to find out when I get paid. That would wake me up.

I'm telestalking the mailman. Can't actually stalk while at work, but the mailbox is in my thoughts as it may contain my manual diamonds by the time I get home.

Great vid, Clover. Had to mute it, though. Too sleepy for the music in the background

Tea? Try Harney & Sons Spiced Plum and their Hot Cinnamon Spice. Totally delightful. Would love to have a Spiced Plum vape!

Mornin' family!

I would love to try that, kittypie. I don't think I've seen it here. I wonder if it is a regional thing? When I moved here I was surprised to see that certain products I've always used and taken for granted just can't be found here. I'm going to google that tea.

Morandir, don't you find that a good beer tastes better in a proper glass than out of the bottle or a clumsy two pound mug? I mean the first couple, of course. :)

I hope everyone has a happy Wednesday!

@lisa i think 25% of food is regional .Remember when "best foods "finally cleared it up on a commercial :Hellman's mayo east of the rockies.best foods mayo west of the rockies" .
The funniest thing was when i had a nieghbor from back east ask me in a kind of jersey accent where she could get kielbasa's ,once i figured out she wanted a type of smoked sausage I helped her out lmao ..hysterical .
I notice many people here mention some food and at least the name is regional .Cracks me up .I usually have no idea what ya'll are talking about .
I myself don't like flavored teas :( plus I found out many years ago from putting cinnamon on lattes that it gives me a headache ......
oh you ladies ,now im going to have to go get a nice china teacup ...dangit :) ANd yes a beer in a pilsner glass ,hate mugs and bottles .

Lady Eleanor in other words you like iced tea with your sugar... :)

Yikes! 8-o NO!! That's "sweet tea," the official beverage of North Carolina! I like my iced tea unsweetened, with a little lemon or bruised mint! :)

("Sweet tea" nearly gags me -- and I have a huge sweet tooth!)
