I know Miss Anita and I remember my mom having that battle when we lived at the beach ...its just as bad .
I just dont have anything in common with any of them ( v4l forum )as they tend to be younger i think and just different then here.
I always forget to look around ecf for general info :(
Maybe we should all do those house swap things ,i can hear it now "anitas sand ! chicago's wind ! ugh nancy's dust and mud " lmao would be a cheap way to vacation tho and i know people do it but hubby dont travel and none of you would want to keep him on your vacay LMAO

 I watched that wife swap show a couple times. OMG !! The first time was by chance and I laughed so hard and was rooting for the guy to slap the "new" wife to shut her the heck up !! Then I watched it again to see if they all were like that. I gave them people some credit though cuz I wouldn't be able to go through the first day let alone for as long as they did with some of those women !!! I'd have been yelling for them to drag their butts outta there if they didn't like the way we lived . I know my husband would have fer sure !!

Well i love that show ..precisely because they purposely set up two complete opposite families lol
But there are whole networks of people who actually house swap for vacations so they can see parts of the usa and other countries they could never otherwise see .:) I think its great because you can only pay airfare and your food /spending .
There was a funny movie about it with Cameron Diaz and I forget who ...

Yeah, I know what you're talking about :) I also saw a woman on the news once that house sits for people who travel to other countries for months at a time. She never pays rent and get to stay in some gorgeous homes n places. She was single and worked online so it was perfect for her. It was her business (the house sitting part) while she worked for another company online for income, so she always had another home lined up to live in. I thought that was pretty cool too.

I like this forum much better. Its comfortable for me.

I get that. I do go to the other one but I spend more time here on ECF too. There's just more of everything here. However, there are some pretty interesting people over on V4L's forum and some funny banter back and forth. Waylon, I'll bet you have more in common with some of the younger people than you think..... that's what I like about both ECF (in general) and over there; all different kinds. I've learned a lot, and not just about vaping. I also like to lurk a lot in the "Outside" part of ECF. It's so interesting to hear other people's opinions and the way they express them. It's also very entertaining!

About the travel/trading places: My niece has been involved in "Couch Surfing" a few times around the world CouchSurfing – The world’s largest travel community. I wish that had been around when I was in my 20's....... much better than most hostels.

Another crystal blue and warm day. I worry that we will pay dearly for this later this month. I saw magnolia trees and forsythia blooming today.....also daffodils......leaves coming out on shrubs and buds on trees ready to pop. Pretty - but I fear things are going to get zapped

I know what you mean . . . It's been around 80 here the past few days, the forsythias have gone wild, as have the red bud/Judas trees . . . And yet I believe it's still supposed to snow before the end of March!

Oh well . . . I've seen daffodils and tulips bravely blooming over snow drifts before; I think they were "made" to survive Crazy Spring Weather! :)

I did a little house work, not a lot. The kids are starting spring break monday so it wouldnt stay clean anyways. I did go grocery shopping and got some treats for the week for them. I usually dont buy much junky type stuff, but I figured they would enjoy it. We arent going anywhere so its going to be just junk food, movies and staying up late. Maybe a few sleepovers, lol.

Oh CASAA tweeted my blog and shared it on FB. I must be doing okay with it,lol.

Hello everyone...just checking in, I'm still alive but under the weather. Stayed in bed all day, just got up to have some chicken noodle soup and that hit the spot. Hopefully tomorrow I will have more engergy and be ready for the week. I will attempt to catch up tomorrow, but that might take awhile.

Take care of yourself IowaGal. DH & DD are both laid low with a cold at the moment, DD has a fever and stayed home from school today, so fingers crossed for me.

Another day, another V4L sale & order  I survived that most recent Wheel of Deals and a couple of others, but today I hit the button. Mainly cos I knew what I wanted - mostly replacement tank cartos, I admit, but one can't make such a boring order, can one? I just had to throw a few other things in the cart, purely to make the package more interesting when it gets here. I just know you all understand what I mean

Cherry Blossoms, M'Dir? How beautiful! Or were you being sarcastic? My favourite is the Ornamental Plum blossom - purely because (quite apart from being so pretty) it starts to bloom immediately we pass the 'shortest day' of the year. It truly lets us know that we have turned the corner. Except I actually like cold weather. but it's always a welcome sight.
