We have pollen everywhere right now ! I am suffering allergies horribly .Armed with antihistmines ,decongestants and presc. for nasal spray for allergies .Already had that miserable cold/ flu .
Hubby is back at work yeah ! Sorry but i need the house to myself sometimes lol.Alot actually .
He ordered the new tv to replace the one he broke so it comes this morning ! Able to restart my netflix as i put on hold as i wasnt going to watch movies on a a teeny tv .Life will be back to normal tonite !
@iowa feel better and Katz I hope you dont catch it but its pretty hard to avoid when you're caring for your daughter .
My cat and bird are still sleeping ,so unfair lol .

Hello all.....finally feeling more like myself today. Katz...I hope you don't get sick....
Waylon...in regards to the pollen I thought they were burning in the cemetery across the street on Friday..turns out it was pollen being blown from the trees! Looked like smoke rolling outta there. It's probably no wonder I felt like crap, better start taking my Clariton. I'm afraid this Spring will be bad since none of the germs were killed off this past winter.

I just had to get on here and say that a dragonfly buzzed by me in a parking lot earlier. It had rained a little bit and the sun came out and was steaming the water off the pavement...... I usually don't see them until May/June!

The only time I ever thought about getting a tattoo I wanted a ladybug on the arch of my foot. I couldn't see me getting one anywhere else. I was told that it would have to be touched up 2-3 times per year because the skin on the bottom of the foot (and palm of hand) sheds so much more quickly than other skin. That took care of that!

Thats funny,I wanted a fire ant on my foot because so many have bitten me there,lol. I chickened out though. Someday I might get one.

Oh yeah, tourists . Forgot about those creatures. We get lots of them in our island state, it seems to be our whole reason for being. They drive slowly, they look at the scenery, they crash, they leave - leaving us with lowered speed limits because we're all so dangerous here. Yep, they're a nuisance.

Keyzy, I still want a tattoo, just a little discreet one somewhere. Maybe of the Southern Cross constellation. Just deciding where...

Good Morning all .. i wont even start on tourists no no no ...they leave their brains at home ...lol
My tattoo if i ever get up my nerve is the small red waylon" flyin W ",down on my ankle .....
maybe this year ,won't cost much ,afraid of the pain .
My sweet elderly canary passed last evening so im pretty sad and dealing with that .Knew it was coming but still kills me .
And before i got this bird ,i thought "yeah right ,im not gonna get attached to this little thing ".Boy was i wrong .
He was an escapee from a breeder somewhere in my husbands work town ...bout 10 plus years ago ,he appeared at the back by the sliding shipping doors .The guys started feeding him ,someone brought in a small cage .Then ,he went home with us and one other lady on weekends ....she couldnt take him permanently altho her daughter wanted him .We took him .
I reluctantantly took him .Hubby bought a huge bird cage on a huge stand and he was a joy .

Waylon...sorry about your canary. Isn't funny how we just get so used to the critters we share our homes with.
Just got lucky on the wheel deal and hit 47%. Probably should have ordered more, but you still gotta pay for it even with the discount Hope everyone is having a Happy Tuesday - first day of Spring...

Waylon I'm sorry about your bird. I don't know how anyone could not get attached. Even little birds have personalities.

Nancy, I am so sorry about the loss of your sweet little canary.

Birds have fascinated me for years, but I never got one because of (1) the cats, and (2) my work/travel schedule back when I was healthy.

Please put his cage away in the garage or someplace, so it doesn't tear your heart out every time you see it!
