My sister's cat (she took in as a stray) had three kittens and they are two weeks old today. I think one is destined to own me. She gave them flea baths on Sunday (too young for medicine) and "mine" swallowed a little bit of suds and had bubbles coming out her nose. :) I think I'm going to name her Tiny Bubbles. :)

Aww, how cute Kittypie! Kittens are irresistible, especially if they decide to choose you. Resistance is futile...

...said the kat!

Reply disclaimer- I realize that not all the replies in here are complete downers. It just seems whenever I poke my head in here something tragic has happened to somebody. So please take the following with a grain of salt.

After waiting almost close to a year I finally feel like I have something of value to share on this post. Hours before catching my flight home I received a rather disturbing pic and text, my 10 year old Chocolate Lab was losing her battle with Cushings and Lymphoma. Catching the last direct flight out (red-eye) after 4 days of non-stop partying at Vaperbash I knew I was going to have to lay my dog down when I awoke the next morning. Kona was a great hunting partner, was dead-on with hand signals out to 150 yards, and could take a dead mark in the thickest of thick like a beast. She was my youngest son's guardian to all things that go bump in the night, my 80 lbs bed warmer, and one of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned. She isn't my first Lab and wont' be my last, but like my others she stood shoulder to shoulder with her previous elite peers.

I think 4 days of partying, traveling, and the emotional toll of laying my dog down were enough to tax my immune system. Hours after leaving the Vet office I could feel myself slipping into illness. I haven't been sick in years and I haven't been this sick in at least 10 years. A high temp of 103.2 I suffered through 2 days of chills and sweats, my voice gone, my throat coated in glass powder, all I could do was lay in bed for 2 days straight. My strength was drained to the point that a simple trip to the restroom seemed more like scaling the summit of Mt. Everest without oxygen. The only saving grace has been everything else has been normal and I am totally absent of any chest congestion which is an oddity indeed. I can only attribute that to not smoking these past 20 months.

I haven't vaped in 60 hours....almost makes me think I could just walk away from vaping.....but we all know that isn't gonna happen.

I just got a e-mail from a friend of mine, his wife left him last night while he was at work, took his twin daughter (I'm their godfather) and split town.

Soooo...let's see...just to re-cap...poor health, dog passing, friend's wife left with kids, yep...that about covers it. Knowing my life it's probably going to be a long time before I get this kind of opportunity to post here again.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Snow...... I'm so sorry about your buddy(s).... both your pup and the human one. Sounds like you're on a bit of overload. Rest up and get better.

Hi coffeevapergirl! Have you thought of arranging some informational interviews with dentists or their staff to help determine what would make you more marketable? It couldn't hurt if you still want to pursue that work and you never know, someone might get inerested in you in the process.

Lisa it was great meeting you as well. I had a most amazing time this past weekend. With my career I do not get out to play very often.

The pipes are most awesome thank you :p I truly love them both. Really happy that my wife loves them too. She knew I was getting one but said she understood why I could not help myself from buying the concealed tank one as well.

If any or all of the above is actually for real (I don't know which part I'm supposed to take "with a grain of salt"), I'm dreadfully sorry, Snowdragon. Especially about your beautiful dog.
