How do you think models get that hollow-cheek look? They have their molars extracted <sigh> You do need your molars...you really do but they want sunken cheeks more  I guess because they don't eat, they really don't need 'em :)

Gads, waylon, he must love target practice :) Wouldn't it be cheaper to drive to another state and stock up on target practice stuff? Or, is it also a lack of places to shoot? I don't know much about the sport but know others who are really into it :p

I feel your pain...couldn't he find a shooting range in Hawaii instead???

Mornin peoples, I hope you all had a good weekend!

My sister is at her BF's until Friday, so I had my duplex aaaaaalll to myself...nice! My biggest "accomplishment" was a brilliant idea I had. I mixed up some brownie batter....I had a package of Tollhouse cookie dough in the fridge...the kind that is already scored and you just break them off for baking. So I poured the brownie batter in the pan, then broke the cookie dough up and nestled it in the brownie batter and baked. omg. I took 16 of them over to my fave nephew's and he ate 8 of them while we were watching a DVD. Sooooo yum!

Have a good day!

kittypie I saw something similar several years ago with cupcakes. The Cakemix Dr. (yup a real person) made cupcakes & put FROZEN pieces of choc chip cookie dough on top of each. As the dough sinks it sort of centers itself inside the cupcake while baking & comes out soft & so good. Cookie Dough Cupcakes are my younger daughter's favorite for her Birthday.
I'm going to try your idea 'cause it sounds sinfully goooooooooood

hey everyone!

lol this video made me giggle so good! Jimmy Kimmel asked his audience to record themselves telling their children that they ate all of their halloween candy! the reactions are hilarious! my favorite is the last kid! "are you serious? I only had one piece of candy! good for you! you're probably gonna get a bellyache!!"

I had a friend, the head of the dentistry department for UofL and he used to hand out apples and toothbrushes for Halloween :) He was from a country not know for celebrating much of anything so didn't quite grasp the concept :p

I think I left out part of my post, Nancy... I had the same thing happen to me...lost a lower molar to an accident with an un-reconstituted garbanzo bean and totally forgot about it after what was left was removed...we're talking years here! When I started to consistently bite my tongue while chewing (I know, I know...what a klutz, right?), I casually mentioned it to my MD who sent me to my dentist :) Lo, and behold! The upper molar had grown longer because nothing was grinding against it so I was forever biting my tongue :) They had to remove the upper molar and that was the end of it :) Oh, that and a non-stop lecture :p

As for Hawaii...my DH and I stayed in a place on Maui that looked very much like an old motel...you know units up and down and about 5 to a building and 3 buildings to the complex :) In other words...not that much to look at :) This was several years ago and they wanted $1,000,000 + per single bedroom unit then :) OUCH! Of course, you were required to rent them out as a source of income for both yourself and the complex management but STILL!! To own your own place AND have to put yourself on the list to BE there? How crazy is that???

Ms. Randapanda all depends on what you usually like. Really hard to give advice on juices because taste does vary between individuals (and not just talking about the taste of the juice itself). My wife loves stout beers for example, I go more towards the ipa's. Doesn't mean a nice stout (like world wide) isn't great, but if a bottle of 120 is sitting beside it, well... :)

Wife's car is fixed. A great honest mechanic is worth their weight in platinum. A fuse blew for the power distributor, but not before damaging the alternator. They just replaced that 6 months ago, no charge for replacing it again.
