Out of all the vendors I have bought things from over the last month, V4L has probably been the fastest and the best customer service. Wish he sold the Janty Stick, then I would not have to buy from anyone else, he he he...
I will likely be buying a VK starter kit from him this Friday. I've read plenty that he gets the shipment out quick, but where is he shipping from? I am up in Seattle in the Northwest corner so typically vendors from the South central US, and especially the southeast take 3-5 days for shipment to arrive once shipped.
V4L is in Wilmette, IL. (Chicago area). I ordered mine late Mon nite and received it on Wed. I'm in Chicago so shipping is quicker, but I have to pay taxes on top of shipping.
Btw, anyone know the deal with the VK batts' holes? I have 1 with 4 holes and 1 with 2 holes. I like the draw/pull of the 4-holes bc it's similar to my Camel Turkish Silvers. The 2-hole batt has a very light pull. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be or it's broken. I haven't heard back from V4L on this issue via emails... So I thought I'd ask here.

My batts have 3 holes and the usb pass through has 4?? Maybe its just different attempts at getting better vapor? I bored the holes out a bit with a dremel to give an easier draw.
I just did an order from him on Wednesday morning at 1:30am, he shipped it Thursday, and according to the USPS website, it should take 2 days from him to me. I'm in Portland, so I expect it would be about the same to Seattle.
If you order early on Friday it'll probably ship on Saturday and be there on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. If you wait and he can't ship until Monday, you'll get it on Wednesday/Thursday.

i got my shipment about 3 days after it shipped. shipped on the 5th and got to my house by the 8th. pretty good considering i live in cali. anyways, the Vk is everything people have said it was. great product. Steve was great, but if you want the same thing for a little cheaper, i just placed an order on lecig(dot)com for the KR808D-1 model (same thing as the VK, same parts, same battery, same everything) for 10 bucks cheaper and free shipping...well so far, mike (LeCig) has been great and has told me it shipped the day i placed. I will tell you when it arrives. Honestly, V4L is a great company, just wish they sold the VK for a little cheaper. If anyone wants to try the VK, just head to LeCig(dot)com and check out their prices as well.
not taking anything away from Steve, but Mike has been VERY helpful. The V4L crew are great with service and i applaud them for that, had i not found Mike from lecig, i would be a buyer from Steve. V4L will still be my backup store for my KR808's. Mike has great prices (competes with China for cartomizers) and has free shipping which is the only reason i chose to buy off him in the first place. The free shipping is a major turn on, just wish more stores had that. I like that Steve puts in some extras, but Mike emailed me saying he has added some extras as well. We will see how the end product (product works well, fast shipping, and great service) measures up to Steve from V4L
Lecig is a nice site but...ONE cart for ten bucks when V4L has 5 at 12.50? I looked but didn't see that it was for anything but ONE cart. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah I saw places like lecig and a couple others had maybe a lower priced base package. What I noticed though is most people end up accessorizing and adding on later. I couldn't find another vendor with a package that included the USB pass through and the PCC with 2 other chargers as well as letting you select your flavors. When I added these items to the lower prices at other vendors the cost was more than buying the Ultimate ultimatum package from V4L. Between that and the feedback it just seemed the right spot in the pool to jump in.

I too ordered late - Thursday apparently - won't be getting my 1st pv until Tuesday probably. I had to buy one more carton of cigs to tide me over. Feelin' ya Zen
