Well...I'm a happy camper :)
I've ordered a lot since just before X-Mass, and a few orders were off, but since there are so many goodies they put in, I never said anything until....
I ordered a black shorty, and made sure to note I wanted a "BLUE" led. Well it came, but it was green led, and I'm sorry--I really dislike green as a light on my e-cig.
To make a long story short, I called Mark and he sent me what I was looking for...a black Shorty with Blue led :) So yes they may be growing fast, and having growing pains, but they still care about their customers, and I will always be a fan of V4L!
Thanks guys, and thanks Mark for taking time to take care of me ;)

I'm happy that you got what you wanted Skinny, but I'm hoping that not everybody reads this thread and thinks that choosing the LED light is normally an option. We already have so many choices available to us, and every new choice added on means an exponential amount of stock they have to keep, sort, and pack for shipping.

Imagine their inventory room already. Imagine only the battery section of the room. They already have to keep all these items separated by auto/manual(2), color(8), size(3), and logo style(2). Each one of these is multiplied.. So that's 2x8x3x2 = 96 different piles of batteries. Now think about the fact that they go through approx 40 orders a day, and maybe get a shipment of batteries every week (at best). 40x7 = 280 in each pile minimum to just keep up with stock requirements. That's 26880 batteries already. If we were to add LED light choosing as an option, they'd have to multiply those numbers by the amount of LED colors they use.

They already go above and beyond for requests.. hell they are talking about stealth & purple batteries, I'm sure in all 3 sizes too. Then add on that I haven't even started talking about accessories and juices... A pack & ship business isn't as easy as most people think it is. You can't just have everything thrown into a corner and go pick through it for every order that comes in.

Of course, this is my own opinion. I for one, am completely happy with the associated color LEDs that come with the batteries.

Darrigass,
Not to offend, but with a product like this there are tons of SKU's to stock no matter how you slice it. Also if they want to keep it simple they can limit what they stock with no options. Since I ordered so much I know they have Blue, and is what I got from ordering last time. Bottom line for me anyway is if they did not have blue (they do not even carry orange), and only sold green--I would not buy their product. I hate green, and do not like it; To me it just seems off to use for this application. They can easily fix this through a number of options avalable to them ;)

couldnt give a frogs fat !#@ what colot the battery, led, or carto is. I'M NOT SMOKING!!!! and i cant believe it. i might not die a horrible painful death of lung cancer... so the color of my kit is just symantics

I agree with that but...for example take a uniform thread on a Pro Football team...it will multiple pages long. People care about things like that.

You shouldnt complain about something that isnt an option, and if you recieved special treatment, you should be thankful and not post it and get everyone putting in special orders. It creates problems for the guys trying to fill the orders.Plus if they dont recieve the requested colors everyone will say there is favortism and complain. Its just my opinion,I dont like to create problems.Im happy with any led color, its not a dealbreaker to me.

true jagsfan, but i am still amazed i was able to quit so fast this way. its almost like a dream still...after 25 years i cant even stand the thought of an analog any more. 25 years of being a volunteer cancer patient and then this makes me not want to look a gift horse in the mouth

I personally can definitely understand the preference for one color of LED over another and hopefully the crew at V4L will be able to make this a chooseable option for us in the future. I do understand why it isn't at this time but adding it will be one more step towards giving the customer exactly what they want.

It is not a deal breaker for me, but I do smile more when I see a blue LED on my battery than when it has a green one.

I'll smile even more when PURPLE comes out!

I had the option when I chose mine. :)
