Hey you crazy kids,
Been using the griffin 22 and was and still am loving it. Im a truck driver and my only complaint on the griffin 22 was the tank capacity. Lo and behold the boffins at geekvape mustve been reading my mind and brought the griffin 25,,a great bloody tank. BUT i have an issue i cant get my head round,,i keep getting dry hits after about 5 mins after every refill. I noticed if i opened the top cap, air bubbles would come out the juice holes and shed be fine for another 5 mins. For the life of me i cant figure it out. Was thinking something along the lines of surface area too much for the juice to flow through the holes?? Dont know,,??? Is it a wicking issue??
Has anyone else had this problem and sussed it out?? Ive noticed it on the smok tfv4 rebuildable coil,,another huge tank...
Any tips guys???
Thanks in advance

I don't have the 25mm Griffin, I have a few Griffin 22mm's though... I would lean towards wicking, and too much cotton, especially if it works for a bit after cracking the top cap open a bit, and you see bubbles....

If you search youtube for videos there are a ton.... There brief explanation...

Leave the ring in place, cut cotton so that it just barely enters the top of the ring, and JUST barely peeks out the bottom. It should be loose, and not packed tight at all. If you grab the cotton from under the ring with tweezers, you should be able to move the cotton around on the top of the ring.....at that point, juice up the cotton, assemble, close AFC, and JFC...Fill it up...Flip it upside down, open the AFC, and the JFC...Give it a few seconds, then flip it right side up....It should see some bubbles at this point...You should be good to go....

Here is a pick of a 25MM in single coil, wicking looks ok, but I would go a bit thinner at the top of the ring....

Well,,,all i got to say is thanks dude!!!
It was a wicking issue,,, done as you said. I was over thinking things,,,just clipped wick to top of wells, made a little channel down the inside of wick using tweezers and sorted it!!!!
Watched a vid from a kid called gentlemen vapes on youtube,,,
A big thanks for your help mate,,,so glad i got my tank firing on all cylinders again!!!!
Thats why forums like this are so important....
