I ordered the siam filler when I ordered my two tanks, and I didn't really have any problems with it, but if Ray's filler works better, I may order that next as well.

I think one of the biggest draws about the new tool is that you can use it to slide the cartomizer thru the caps without damaging the o-rings.

Yes it def does help with sliding without a doubt..
I have an issue sorta.. For me to take these capped tanks outside I have to figure a way out that I don't rip the carto from the capped tank already filled.. Anyone have any advice? One thing about the grommets THAT I LOVED was once the tank was set it was forgettable and I could pretty much be as rough as I wanted, as an example I usually keep my tanks in my pockets with no issue .. Now like the olden days of capped tanks I'm ripping the cartos out way to easily. I love the looks of the tanks but for this reason they won't leave my front door.. Anyone have any advice?

I don't really think there's a solution for that one.
That's the real advantage to the grommets, but the trade off is the grommets are harder to refill, unless it's a Sidewinder.
The only idea that comes to mind would involve super gluing a washer to the carto at the top cap. That would only prevent it from sliding in one direction though and unless you were painting it, it would look pretty ugly.

Hmm I'll figure something out! I have enough grommets now just in case but thats not the answer. I like this caps too much not to use em!

I have a 7ml Pyrex VVV with an aluminum cap on the bottom and a grommet on the top. It was about half full (or half empty) and I inserted a syringe and slowly added juice about 1/ 8 inch at a time.. so I wouldn't get vapor lock. The aluminum cap at the bottom started leaking!!! Where do I go from here to stop the leaking? Never had this happen before.

hMMMmm I will see how it looks on top then because carto leaking is easy to deal with, but cap leaking I'll hulk smash the wall..

That seems kinda cool. I actually meant use the capped pyrex inside (at home) and use polypro outside (in the harsh world we live in) :)
But of course!!
My bottom aluminum cap is what started leaking
Have u undone the entire tank and reset everything?

It sounds like you may have damaged the internal o-ring if that's where it's leaking from.
Or is it leaking out of the cartomizer itself?

Just a quick note about a service interruption.
Had a very bad day today. Ended up sick and in bed most of the day, followed by some quality time in the ER.
I hope to get back in the swing of things and caught up over the weekend. May be a slight shipping delay on any orders that were placed.

I'm sorry to hear that? Are you all right?
