Chipped the big guy =(

Had a bit of a storm yesterday with this silly Isaac bs, had my gg+vvv tank up on the mantel.... Opened the door and a gust knocked it off the mantel and onto the metal table frame. Good 6 foot drop. Ah well. Just a chip in the to. Gonna see if I can grind it down later. Still works as is.

Ill snap a pic if it when I get home.

That's a bummer!
Glad it survived the fall though!

I chipped the end of one of my pyrex tanks and I put a nice foil sticker over it. You can barely see it in this pic, to the bottom right of the star sticker there's a small foil lightning bolt sticker covering the chip.

I just wanted to say you guys threw me for a loop. I live in Roanoke, VA... The "Star of the south". We have a giant red, white, and blue neon star that sits atop a mountain overlooking the city, and the star logo is on everything. The local mall happens to be Valley View Mall.

I saw you guys here and got excited that we had a brick and mortar store right here in town... Sadly that's not the case. It's Texas, right?

Sorry, but yeah... it's Texas.
Would be a bit of a drive for ya :D
(plus I don't have a brick and mortar anyhow)
That would make it a looooonggg wasted drive ;)

Getting mail from TX is a joke for me. Its either perfect or days and days. Family from Houston so. Hoping your package is here today but technically in my mind should of been yesterday.

and you are counting on the US postal Service to deliver a package in a timely manner??? You've GOT to be kidding me. I live in Louisiana and it usually takes USPS 5 days from Texas or Arkansas. However, from Washington state is usually 2 days.. Go figure!

It's so weird how different areas can have such strange mail delivery times. I watch the tracking on everything I send out. some of the stuff makes destinations in amazing times... and others .....................

The price is right though, UPS and FedEx are pricier. Plus UPS wants $10 to come pick up a package where I live. It's a 20 minute drive to the nearest Drop Box and a 30 min drive to the nearest place where I could hand it to a human.

Haha actually they are really good in NYC so yes I've come to depend on them. I have the worst feelings on UPS because I'm always forced to go to the warehouse to pick my crap up, and then wait for hours if my driver hasnt returned. I'm sometimes home and they still leave a "you weren't home" slip...
Fed ex I also depend on yet prices are always ridiculous..
FYI you mailed my stuff prolly Friday afternoon if I'm not mistaken. Plenty of time to receive my stuff in my opinion yet nothing again. I've had so many issues with stuff lately I was really looking forward to them.

Yeah, I was just looking at your tracking info a little bit ago. It went out Friday and shows an "estimated" delivery day of yesterday. Hasn't been scanned since it left Texas though

Have you tried Priority Mail? I don't know that it would make a difference since it's not a guaranteed delivery time frame. I do know from when I used to work in the airlines that priority mail may get on a flight when regular mail doesn't though.
