@ "Locovamp87" - Since you asked - and although you have already gotten some good responses - JUST "My" . . .

In this economy and with so many people looking for work . . . Given that you haven't even interviewed for the "Flight Attendants" position and without having something IN WRITING offering you a NEW JOB . . . DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO . . . BUT - Stay with the JOB you have (IT IS BETTER than NO JOB and NO SALARY) and apply for the "Passport" (Which takes quite some time now and "You" may or may not get) . . .

Also - Then if the "NEW" JOB that you interviewed for comes through and it pays more and "You" WANT IT - TAKE IT, especially while "You" wait for your passport application to be approved (but do not tell anyone where you work {Old JOB or New JOB} - That "You" are applying for a passport and waiting to hear about a non-exsistant "Flight Attendant" JOB - BAD MOVE ) . . . When and IF the "Flight Attendant" interview and JOB comes though - THEN Give 2 weeks notice, not before (They will probably let you go at that time anyway) . . .

More Importantly, remember one thing that has become a reality today - Unless "YOU" Are Already Working - there are many companies that will not look at your application/resume or even give you a chance to interview . . .

Now - Just as a suggestion, while I know it is hard to even ask people for any assist, might I suggest that instead of asking one person for the "Passport Application" Fees and depending on how many people you know . . . How about asking your friends and family to help you by loaning or contributing some of the money you need - that way the Passport Application for an Adult Passport & Card & Execution Fees that total $165.00 are much easier to get, if say there are 16 people willing to do this - $10.00 each . . . or even 8 @ $20.00 each . . . IMO - SO much easier then trying to get the whole $165.00 from one person, especially when someone may not have that amount and money is so tight . . .

Just a thought . . .

Thanks Uncle I already am doing most of those things and i realized that about companies only looking at applicants who already have jobs (really sad) and i'm not quitting my current job any time soon until somethings official. However i haven't heard from the job i did interview with yet and from what i found out i might not be hired right away. So this seems to come right on time. And I've been waiting to hear from them(airline) since i went through that EXTENSIVE application process a month ago. So it kinda is in writing. I have to do a phone interview before a face to face one and for both i need a passport. I just dont want to burn bridges with the first company in case i end up working for them in the future by accepting that job prematurely. And also i was asking everyone else for small amounts. My brother had offered to pay for me to get a passport a few years ago so thats why i brought him up.

However i have great news worth dancing about!!!! My best friend (ex boyfriend; we're better as friends) had told me when i called him that i should have called him first seeing as this was my Christmas gift!! Here i thought he was lying about having me a gift and he was waiting for me to hear from the airline one way or another. He said if they were gonna interview me he was paying for the passport and if they werent he was getting me a kindle fire!!! He is the greatest!!! I am sooo happy right now everybody i have been dancing and singing random songs for the past few hours!!! "Everything's coming up roses"

I'm at a loss on how to get my computer working. It won't boot ot do anything at all. Even the DVD trays won't open. Contacted a guy fro Craigs List who didn't show up.

First things first, and just to be absolutely certain, unplug the cables connecting to the electricity and back of the computer, then reattach and plug back in. Also make sure that the powerstrip, if you have one, is switched on.

I know that sounds basic, but it at least rules that stuff out.

You should do what I did. If you have an extra or old grommet from a 3 or 6ml tank. Set the height you want for the hole, then superglue the grommet to the "prongs" on the punch. Instant depth gauge. Then you just drop in a carto it stops at the grommet and it's the perfect height.

I wss thinking. If I get a massive bottle of dragons blood with extra flavor then mix it with non flavored vg to bring it back to normal flavor id have a lot more. Make sense?

1/9 #1 so I have a question for anyone here who's done the whole cruise ship thing. My sisters and I have gotten together to send my folks away on a cruise for their 25th anniversary. I'm trying to prepare a little basket of thing that will make their cruise better. So far I have a high capacity SD card for their camera and some squishy shoe inserts (I figure their going to be doing a lot of hiking around). Anyone know of any other small items that will enhance their off shore experience? I'm thinking maybe a bottle of sunblock too as a gag... Please PM me if you don't want to clog up the thread, I could really use some suggestions

1. After going through a lengthy period of experimentation to discover that I'm not cut out for rebuildable atomizers, I'm not even sure I trust myself to punch my own cartomizers. Perhaps it's much easier, but I'm pretty sure I'd find a way to mangle several innocent cartos.
