CHAT @ MrPicC - You mean the Join Date : Aug 2009? I joined after finding a recipe in this odd website called ECF - How to make nicotine for e-juice by soaking a nicotine patch in vodka! It was a lifesaver because I was in a 3rd world country and couldn't get anything shipped in without it being confiscated :p Yep, that's when I joined ECF and quit cigs the first time! Still have that Menthol Nicotine I made... it is so strong it'll frost glass :p

7 degrees o_O it is like a Stephen King nightmare :p

WHICH ONE OF YOU SAID THAT YOU BUILT YOUR OWN GRIPPER?
OR YOU BUILT YOUR OWN mod IN A SUCRETS TIN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

My phone tells me it is 4° this morning.

You may be thinking of me and my pill bottle mod, yes? I'm getting the kids ready for school, but if you have questions, fire away!

CHAT @ boardopboy - I thought it was you or Vince and I checked your posts but could find nothing about it :/ Post pics of this 'Pill Bottle Mod' or send me links and tell us how it is with Ray's polypro tanks and with his pyrex tanks - flavor is good? What ohm on clearos needed? I have LR clearos from Ray already, but I will buy SR next to see if it is any better.

My supply of carto/clearos is dwindling and I need to order more tanks, but I want to know what works best with what... my rebuildable cartos won't work with the Zmax, so I buy no more of those... my 1ml clearos don't work with Zmax, but I adore them to pieces & can vape it down in 30 minutes to an hour at home, so I ordered more... that means 1ml clearos and tanks is all I will use... unless I get a gripper or mod of some sort... So, tell me how your mod works with different ohm clearos, SR, LR, polypro, pyrex, ands all of that, please.

Aha! I find PILLAR!! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ree-polypropylene-tank-weekly-contest-85.html

4- I am working on my mod, but it will be a bit above most, but still slightly below a VV, going to use Lipo's from model aircraft and do my own circuity, to get a constant 4.5-4.7 through the whole battery..... Thinking of getting me one of these Billet Box Vapor Inc. when they are taking orders again.

CHAT @ skydvejam - see, 4.5 is my sweet-spot as well, but I've been destroying my clearos with this Zmax at 4.5 moving as high as 6.0 when I identically change the setting... and I had some lemonade in Ray's tanks and they leaked like crazy, so they are recently washed and waiting to be rebuilt so I haven't used them with the Zmax yet :/ The lemonade is on the shelf and I read later that it leaks for EVERYONE... acidic or something. maybe I should use it to CLEAN clearos :p

That BB is magnificent... but I want a back up for the Zmax since the Twists last like an hour to three if I vape heavy... That BB would be too good a quality for me :p

5- Seems to hit quite nice at that voltage, and using a high cap battery have to be careful about how I use it, but with a good shunt should hold voltage though the whole process.

CHAT @ skydvejam - why do you need to be careful with how you use the high cap battery? Uhhhhhh, don't worry - I will stay lost, I can't understand difference between ohm, SR, LR, and the VV or VW PVs I have, I can't throw cap batteries and shunts in the mix now :p

Lisa, I built it using the Puck Mod tutorial, which is basically just a small box mod using AAA NiMH batteries. Using 4 would put you at 4.8 volts. I built mine using 3, so I pull 3.6 volts I only use lo res cartos or Vivis on it and get a very good vape off it. And it is consistent. Until the LED dims, then I just recharge.

I made it early in my Vapehood, If I were to make it today, I would build it to 4.8v. But I still love it! Also, I used an eGo connection instead of the recommended 901 connection.

CHAT @ boardopboy - you need to practice modding out grippers, nintendo controllers, and stuff like that and put them in the classifieds... I want an alternate PV that uses the 18650 batteries like my Zmax uses. My eGo Twists will be given away soon since they only last me 1 - 3 hours on a heavy vape day.

Chat @ Lisa, I would be using a battery that has much higher voltage than necessary, and kicking it down so it will last longer. These batteries have super high capacity's and the ability to discharge much faster than normal batteries up to the point they can get into a thermal runaway and they will flame up bad.

CHAT @ skydvejam - Now that I understand! 18650 2200 - 3100 batteries vaping at 4.5 last ALL DAY on a heavy vape!

3 just won a fuzionvapor tshirt via facebook. Woohoo!

CHAT @ MrPicC - Congrats on the WIN!!

Morning all! I've just finished building the 6' pantry cabinet, made turkey tetrazzini, and I am watching a movie and vaping before sleep =]
