Hi, everyone! I guess I am going to have to be helping out if we are gonna get close to 2k this week! lol! I almost stocked up on some cheap juice yesterday, until I saw how much cheaper it is to make my own..... Looks like I am finally gonna have to take the DIY leap! Trying to save up for some pyrex tanks, too! Sweet!

I was spoiled working in radio and doing front of house for artists. I'll ask if I can be on the list and if told no, I may or may not go. Most the shows I go to I could care less about watching the artist ect, its more I am going to get out for the night. I can go do that some where else for cheaper. The shows I do really want to see I don't mind paying to get in, but I will harrass the promoter...

Whew, all caught up. Cold morning in the panhandle this a.m. Had frost on the windows. Warmed up ok later but didn't get to warm today. Supposed to be nicer as the week goes on.

Edison abused Tesla. But it was partly Tesla's fault. He was a genius. But didn't give two figs about money or notoriety. Edison took complete advantage of that. A damn shame. If half of Tesla's ideas had come to fruition, we wouldn't be reverse engineering the Roswell crash site.
4) What's sadder is that there are thousands of people that think Tesla is, first and foremost, a rock band.
There's a comic book about Tesla that celebrates his coolness and hopefully exposes new people to his brilliance. I hope it inspired some people to study about the man and his works.
Edit: Also sad that the mod that bears his name isn't better. A true "Tesla" mod would make the Provari, eVic, and MiD One look like caveman tools.
Yes, a whole generation of kids only know Tesla as an 80's Glam band... BUT... that band got it. Understood Tesla, and even had a pretty Rad tune singing his praise, and it's relatively historically accurate...

5) I like the band, but it still bugs me that some people think they are the most famous and/or influential "Tesla."
Also, I'm pretty sure that fans of the band Tesla are no longer kids.
