Just make sure you got High drain IMR's (unprotected batts) or else you may have problems getting the batts to work in a Vamo. If they are protected it will usually draw to much from the batt and trip the protection circuit if you are pulling to hard on em. Just thought I would mention that. :)
I may have gotten the wrong battery!? Its not IMR, i think it is gcr or icr......?

Some protected batts will work for a puff or two, but then stop as it trips the circuitry. Found out the hard way myself. :) Then found out I shouldn't be using protected batts!! hehe

5. I looked at mine and they are ICR's. Suppose I'll be picking up some new 18350s too lol

Especially when "Ray" has one available - Only it is to change Carto's and/or "SLAP" juice into "Your" VVV Tank (BTW: Very Inexpensive compared to the other one too - I'm gonna have to get one myself ;)): Triple V Tank Tool

I was gonna say the longer version feels better in my hand... But then recalled Uncle frequents this thread (among others) ;) all in good fun lol

Yep - I usually hang out here . . . :D

AND - What are "You" insinuating . . .;)

I think the vamo has an Ohm checker.. am i correct? Boardo owns like SEVENTY of the things, wheres he at?

Here I am! And I pif'd one of my Vamos, so I am down to 69! ;) And yes, the Vamo has an ohm checker. Long press the plus button.

I have both protected and unprotected batteries and have used both in my Vamo, no problems ... though the protected batteries are a tight fit. So I reccomend unprotected.

Stacking batteries in a Vamo is perfectly safe, and one of the few mods where it is actually suggested. You want to hit full power, you need that 7+ volt jolt. Stack two 350s, pop on a 3 ohm DC carto and crank your Vamo to 15watts. Pure vaping nirvana.

Though, I've been leaning towards low ohms on my Natural recently. Amazing experience is the vape with no modulation.

Wow thanks i didn't see that in the vendor's description i was reading. So now the provari is definitely out!! and for the price of a vamo i can get that soon!!

(sigh) But i wont, it's supposed to be my reward for landing a better job. So i will hold out. But i'm definitely getting a RBA to go with it. I am waiting for the killer 705 to get more american reviews because i think that would look great in a VVV tank.

why does the black chrome have to always be outta stock at exhale? :(
I would steer you away from the black chrome. Unless they have changed the plating process, it will quickly loses it's luster. And certain juices will strip the coating...

You'll see here the entire bottom piece, the black chrome coating has worn off and I am left with that dull chain link fence steel. Smells like metal in my hand too. I still LOVE my Vamo... even if it is uglier than it was the day I got it...

How does the normal chrome hold up? I was just pondering a cheap mechanical + external-packaged kick for my traveling-about VW needs. (After the 10th time I've dropped my evic - and yes, its still fine - I decided it was time for something a little cheaper..) The vamo for $38 would be a really good fit for that.. And it even takes the same 18650s I'm using everywhere else..

ETA: also, is there a coupon code I'm missing? Its showing at $39 for chrome, $52 for stainless.

I don't have personal experience with the chrome, but in frequent trips to the Vamo subforum, I don't recall seeing much if anything about the chrome tarnishing. I'll tell you what though... those guys love their stainless steel Vamos!

After recently acquiring my own stainless mod, not a Vamo... The Natural, I can understand why! E'ry mod should be stainless!

I think Abe said he was doing away with coupons, and just bottom line pricing everything... kinda like Ray does with tanks.

Speaking of Ray... he did say he was going to carry the Vamo (I think? Or did I dream that?) Might be worth waiting to see his price on it?
