on the public works worksheet, in cell c32, insert a formula that will calculate the projected operations cost after the forecasted increase in cell b30 is added to the 2016 total (in b32). Ensure that the reference to cell b30 is an absolute cell reference, and then copy the formula into the range d32:f32.

i haven't taken a math class in a decade have mercy on me

Help if you want it. Skip if you don't! :)

Formula for c32 =$b$30+b32

Click once on cell c32, click and drag that box over to f32 to copy the formula into d32:f32

Don't know if I should be happy or sad that I can Excel in my sleep :/

EDIT:
GAH the typo in the picture! I are smrt, I promise!

To take it easy this weekend or not to. That is the question... Who am I kidding it's St Paddys day weekend!

Yup. I agree... One should always take it easy on St. Patty's and avoid the 8 hour long amateur hour that is public parades and indecency charges.

Thanks hun, but the increases were in percents so it took me a minute to figure it out.

I finished and submitted it and got a 98 so i guess I'm not entirely hopeless after all~!

It turned out to be like C32=B32*(100%+$B$30) or something obscure like that...

Ahhh, percents (can) change everything. I've been beating my head the past week getting Excel percents to merge into Word. Thanks to 43% being .43 in Excel I wind up having to hard code calculations for each merge field and then apply field codes to format each one as a percentage. Doing math in a word processor is the exact opposite of fun...

You haven't been lingering either, Aurora.
I've been around enough to get my five in, but I've been working hard at making juice and trying to develop at least 2 new flavors. One, Lemontree, for a challenge :) and a Strawberry Berry because a nephew loves Strawberry.
LEMONtree!!!! gots me salivating!

Finally grew a pair and logged in to ECF from the work computer. I'm blaming you guys if I get canned over this!

Glassman... I'd love to give you feedback on juice... but I never got any. :(

i know what you means! our usage is highly restricted and i was afraid to post for the longest time!
I finally got comfortable having ECF 'remember' me here at my desk. was quite the scary commitment

"carfilzomib" - This is not a random collection of letters. This is a real word. I need to say it in a commercial I am about to cut. Yet... I have no clue how. This should be interesting.

The nice thing about working in Radio... they put no restrictions on what sites can be visited... after all, you never know where you may need to go for show prep. They do, however, monitor usage. On occasion. I am not concerned about the content... more the "time wasting" angle.

C'est la vie!

i didnt go!! it was raining, so they moved the show from the epic rooftop playground venue, to its downstairs bar counterpart which lacks even the semblance of a decent dancefloor. so i missed it, and, according to a FB msg from the guy who booked them, i was on the list!!
not too good tho?

Levisdaddy did you make it to Kids At The Bar? if so what did you think? We only had Matt playing and it was kind of bland in my opinion.

My time wasting is astronomical. but then again, they dont give us enough accounts to fill even half the day. i finish my entire desk within an hour and a half.....
