So - I'm gonna do "My" best to catch-up with everything here and I need to check out what's been happening in all the other ECF Neighborhoods since yesterday . . .

Hopefully - I will also get back in time to get "My" post quota for today since I missed being able to post yesterdays . . .

Hmmmm... I ask because the taste of a fresh carto is better than an old one, but my in-use cartos don't taste burnt and aren't necessarily flooded. They're just.... Not as tasty. Helpful right? I may just boil 'em all and give one another spin after it dries. Worst case, I waste a few mls of juice.

I know exactly what you mean, my guess would be it's the build up of juice gunk that builds up on the coil. i'm not sure if boiling would get it off because of the filler all around it, maybe a PGA bath might work better.

There is so much pollen outside of my office today, it's a fall and slip hazard. I say this because I slipped and almost fell... :glare:

Question for those that are lurking and/or need the opening to post: do you wash and reuse the cartos for your tanks? Not that they're all that pricey by any stretch, but I do my best to reduce/reuse when possible.

When I first got going with cartos, I would do the whole boil rinse repeat until the water stopped smelling (the PBusardo Method)... but the polyfil took on an odd flavor when I did, so I gave up. And I never could restore them to their original factory condition...

These days, after a carto has lived it's life, I give it a quick rinse from the tap, and toss it in the recycle bin. No clue if it goes anywhere after that... but at least it has a chance of becoming more than just land fill.

Glad it's not just my imagination! I have several cartos that are due for a swap, so I feel an experiment coming on. Boil one, PGA soak another, and boil then soak a third. Or perhaps PGA soak then boil, for the agitation? Perhaps one done each way...

Let us know how it goes, I'm all into saving when I can. I hope it works out better for you than it did me, but I couldn't try the PGA bath because it is illegal to buy in Ohio.

Howdy, hello, ciao, idk. Welcome to "this is your life"
GOOD NEWS: Wifey got a J.O.B. !! at a nice greek restaurant kinda downtown, which a prospect at a nice upscale steak(?) place!!
I slept thru my alarm, and woke up 4 minutes before i was supposed to be at work. so i called in a schedule change and came in at noon. these extra hours this morning allocated for me to look for some daycare options for Levi, we found an affordable home day care about 5-10 minutes form our house!! Life has been good to us, and i am grateful.
now to get to your posts :)
3.
um, no? you?
i missed the BOBO post, but this will work. I actually know the manufacturer of these, same place i got my ego-kit order, i may ask for one, for novelty purposes of course :)

In non-vape related news: I'm overly-excited about veggies. I missed the CSA signup for spring/summer and was not looking forward to putting in the time to get decent veg the next few months. Derby season is in full swing and between practicing, coaching, and games time is not something I have in abundance, but I have to have good food to fuel all of the above. You see the conundrum here, right? But this week I found out the CSA farm will let you buy weekly baskets and they deliver for NO CHARGE. The large basket is the better deal but way more than we need so I'm splitting it with a teammate. A week's worth of locally grown veg for two families, delivered to my door, for $48 and 2 minutes of my time? YES PLEASE! That's fresh local veggies for less than $2/day/person. Happy happy HAPPY!
awesomeness! i wonder if there are similar veggie farm delivery things here in tucson? I got 12-15 diff veggies planted now, and am battling for maintenance free watering. 2 sprinklers, 2 water hose timers (one automatic) and a couple broken sprinkler/sprayer heads. tomorrow i will make my 3rd trip to home depot to return another sprinkler, and have decided upon the drip hose. it kinda sweats or seeps out of the hose like a drip system, just much more basic and above ground. ill just have to arrange it so that the very end of it covers the two potted plants we have (tomato and elephant garlic). i also returned the egg timer thing for the hose, for a programmable hose timer for automated watering :) not gonna let my little dudes dry out in this desert!

#1 Hi to everyone. I really need to get some mixing done. I have many people's juice addictions to feed. If this keeps up its soon to become a second job. Not that I mind.
like MINE! :) oh, update on 4th this weekend, looks like it will be saturday that i am going to delectables, i know you work, but if you can make it before last call :)
1- Wow what a couple of last days... Tuesday one of the kids that my wife used to watch bit my sons face quite deep, it was a solid v cut in his face.
so, ah, did you beat up his dad?
hope his recovery is speedy and painless :)
on its way, thank you!!

i have rinsed them clean before, but have yet to retry using them. are they salvageable?
No Tina I don't, I usually use mine until they start flooding or if they get a burnt taste. Flooding can't fix, burnt tastI've never been able to clean out.e
some get burnt flavor within 2 fills, others i have filled 20 times and the only issue is reduced vapor

Congrats to wifey on the J.O.B. levisdaddy!!! As for the veggies: do a search for CSAs in your area. Basically, you're buying a share of a farm and get food instead of dividends. The farm that I'm getting veggies delivered from offers a CSA and that's how I found them. I hope there's something for you to use!

jpf880, is high-test rum like Bacardi 151 available in your area? For our uses that would do pretty much the same thing.

And in vape news: I just learned of another B&M that opened up in my area last week. They have pictures on FB and those pictures include mods and clearos and batteries (the first B&M I visited had none of these). They carry Halo juice. And they also have...

Wait for it....

The other thing they sell? Coffee. Oh, and I get off work early tomorrow. Boy oh boy, could I be in trouble...

Will report back, sir. Hopefully something will work.

And if you love sriracha, I hope you are familiar with The Oatmeal (online comic, the author of which has an unholy love of Sriracha sauce). His store has many rooster sauce theme items that are hilarious but possibly not ECF friendly. But this one is: hot sauce air freshener :D

Thank you, i am quite proud of her! coupled with the day care that is only $10-$15 a day (up to 5 hours) this is gonna work well, and take some pressure off of me. she will get a break from the boy, which i know she desperately craves at times. he will only be in daycare for 2 hours a day, 3 days a week, so total weekly cost would be approx $30-40. and we like the daycare, he would be the youngest there, but even in the 15 min we were there this morning he was having fun and was engaged the the entire time. they have 3-4 other kids there, so its small, flexible and conveniently close. but most importantly, i feel that he will be safe there.

Now you all have me thinking about hot sauce. Double bonus, wife says she's getting enchilada makings for dinner.
enchiladas sound fantastic. i make a mean shrimp enchilada, that may be in the cards tonight! we gots everything we need, the hardest part is deciding between green or red enchiladas!!
