Thanks for showing this MrPicC! I was looking for single Ego batts on Fasttech. I have no patience or ability to friggin search that site.. wish they had a tutorial. Most of the time I end of finding stuff through other people or Vapor Joes.

Edit Thanks Chellemm for originally posting link that MrPicC reposted!!:)

#3 I am still so mad I can't sleep. I gotta put all this negative energy into finding a new place to live instead of dwelling on my current situation. I could use a drink and a cigarette, but I will allow myself neither.

Redirection of energy would be a good thing. Ciggs and drinks not good!! Well unless it was sweet tea to drink, that's ok!

I hate laundrymats the one here is nasty so I drive to the next town if I have to use one.

My washer broke about 3 months ago. I know what you mean I hate the one closest to our house, so I drive a little farther to one that's not much better. Wish I could afford a new one.

(would be nice to come home to dinner already prepared, even once a week, just sayin)

I agree with this statement. Doesn't happen.

I am hunting a meatloaf recipe... those noodleheads were talking about meatloaf and mashed potatoes during the day and I fell asleep before asking akatina her recipe :/

I have no meatloaf recipe, my mother is in charge of all meatloaf! Partly because she is the queen of meatloaf and partly because I have no working oven (and haven't for almost 7 years). No oven means no baking of sweets, but also means I can now grill a mean 15 lb turkey :D

I do, however, have serious meatloaf opinions. Mutliple meats, for sure. We're fans of beef, pork, turkey, and venison. Have added goat as well with tasty results. Bread or oatmeal are also important; it stretches the meat a bit, sure, but the bigger role is to keep the shape and consistency of the loaf. A bread and some egg help keep it cohesive so it doesn't crumble when you slice it. We also do minced onion and bell pepper in our meatloaf, and top with a variety of things (though the meatloaf is always large enough that some can remain untopped).

So far today is subpar. My phone broke so I had to replace it when I got to work (thankfully an option for me since my company sells phones). My replacement is slightly older than what I had mainly because it's the first thing I grabbed when I got it. So today will be spent learning a new-to-me phone. Yay... Let me just say, though, that Android and my Google overlords has made switching phones about as painless as possible now. Once the firmware gets all of its updates, it's just a matter of signing in. Contacts, bookmarks, all there. Music? There. Go online to my apps, send the ones I want to keep to the new phone, and a few minutes later they're back too. Easy peasy...

Doing some cooking this morning. Going to deliver supper to my parents about lunchtime. Chicken casserole for Mom and Goulash for Dad. Mom spent the weekend in the hospital, mainly for observation. Come Monday when the doctors would/could do testing she passed with flying colors so that was great news. Regardless, trying to keep her resting as much as possible. It's actually pretty impossible with her.

The closest laundry mat to me is about 10 minutes away, but I've never been there. I've driven 25 miles to find one with free wi-fi when I absolutely had to go to one of those places. It was worth it.
2- Ugh laundry mats, our washer died not long ago, wife was thinking of just doing the laundry mat thing, but it is just such a hassle. Granted the ones on post are typically better than anything you find off post, still nasty and such a pain.
My dryer died a few weeks ago, ordered a new one immediately. I would have just line dried, but the pollen situation outside is totally outrageous this time of year. Oak trees surround me. And I don't like sharing cooties unless I know who they came from intimately. Some people use laundry mats for really gross stuff they don't want to wash at home. Plus, I've never had my clothes stolen at home.

Thankfully we replaced the washer 2 yrs ago. And I can always line dry when the dryer goes. The fridge died a couple of months ago but we were able to borrow a family spare. I can't wait to be able to replace it.

My fridge died a month ago. The repair man came 4 times over that period, tried 2 different compressors before he found out the manufacturer doesn't make the right compressor anymore. I kept holding off on buying a new fridge because the repair man said he could fix it. One full month of no fridge is a long time for a spoiled American like myself. I have dealt with no heat or AC for the past year and a half, but life without a fridge is extremely inconvenient. Lots of canned and dried food, daily trips to the grocery store.

The new fridge should be here between 12 and 4pm today! I am so excited! Best $1000 I didn't have that I have ever spent! Now if I could just afford the food to fill it with...

#4 I once lived in a place that didn't come with a refrigerator for a whole year. It really sucked. I don't recommend it at all. And when I was pregnant we had no hot water. I did not enjoy taking cold showers while 8 months pregnant in January. When my daughter was born we would heat her bath water in the microwave.
