DAY #3 - Entry #5 . . .

8/23 #1 Uncle, you need to drive north to Saint Augustine for that. Fountain of Youth is there. :)

OH - I so wish . . . Between the swollen feet & legs again and add an asthma attack on the plane last night . . . Let's just say I am not driving anywhere today . . . Maybe in a week or two - just not today . . . ;). BTW - I know everyone has to get older - but just don't get "OLD" . . .

#1 I fixed something my husband couldn't! A nieghbors printer kept jamming, my hubby couldn't figure out why. I used to manage a photo lab, and I got pretty good at troubleshooting printing equipment. Turned out there was a tiny pencil eraser in the rollers. He spent several hours tinkering with it. I fixed it in twenty minutes :) I was proud of me lol.

Disclaimer: my husband is wonderful and can fix a lot of things. That's the only reason I'm so amused with this, cuz he's Mr. Fixit!

#2 As I was making dinner, my daughter was hanging out in the kitchen with me. She was picking off the plate of cooked shredded chicken I'd prepped, I asked her to stop, but shed snag some every time I looked away. So of course, I'd catch her, and make a silly comment. It was cute, just a little moment of my day. Gratefully, in that moment, it occurred to me that these are the exact moments that turn into treasured memories. So I added an extra hug for good measure ;)
