Vamo button mashed in help getting it to pop back up?

So I was hoping to get a little help here on fixing my Vamo up button fixed. I wonder if some kind soul can help me out.
Heres the situation. The actual board button is stuck in its down position. Its not an alignment issue that someone on chat told me about ... I pulled the board and the rubbery bit just flops around. The button isn't making contact until I give the button the slightest brush, so I have pulled the external nib bit and round robin to set my voltage. I hope someone out there has a trick to make it pop back up. Otherwise I'm looking for a button to sacrifice of some other device to see if I can fiddle with the innards and replace all or part of the button. I have seen a youtube on this and it looks incredibly fiddly and wrought with a chance of bricking the device.

Thanks Ill repost there. But I think this could be a problem found on any of the push button devices as these buttons seem pretty standard. As a matter of fact the youtube video I referenced above was on an eGo battery but I don't see why it would not work on the VAMO button.
