Hi all was wondering why my vamo finally decides to fire 6 sec or so after pushing the button. It seems to only do this only when my voltage is set higher than the voltage of my battery life. I was thinking this might be a battery problem as I only have the ones that came in the starter kit.

If anyone knows what the problem is or just wants to comment on the issue feel free, I am at a dead end

Mine does it too. It might have something to do with the hot spring. The manufacturer has sent notice to not use the v2 with the thicker spring until they have replacements ready. Turns out the spring they used heats up pretty badly at lower ohms or higher voltages. It will keep firing until the spring cools down. Health Cabin has a copy of the notice on their site. They call the Vamo the Bamboo.

Sent from my phone.

^This is what I've been reading, too. That the problematic spring is sucking up the power from the battery when you hit the fire button, so the spring heats up instead of your coils, creating that lag.

Lots of people are recommending the Helix spring that AvidVapor carries. I ordered one (since I was already ordering a new charger). I don't have my Vamo yet, but I want to be prepared, just in case.

I have the same issue with my SS vamo I thought the spring was the issue but I put a helix hot spring and it did not resolve the problem. My cap/spring/battery never got hot with either spring. I am returning it for an exchange. My gun metal vamo worked fine with the weak spring and the weak spring + the helix both in the cap. Hopefully the spring works for you bit be prepared for you to still have the same issue.

Really if this is the case I am calling Tim from Vaporbeast and I'm sure he can work with me. I think I'm done with the VAMO scene and go to the Silver Bullet scene. My friend told me to get the vector and now I wish I would've listened :(. Oh well I will post back and let everyone know how this turned out

I no longer have a spring problem, my Vamo's tail cap doesn't get hot or warm at all, however, my Agat-T gets very hot whilst chain vaping and my VN's only get warm in comparison, the body (chip housing part) is only warm to touch probably a little warmer than body temp. I don't think this a problem, but if it were to get a whole lot hotter, I would be concerned.

T41CK, I really think you should at least wait for your new spring before you spend anymore money or give up on it entirely, although I have read good things about Silver Bullets and they make a nice addition to any collection, I don't know much about the Vector, what is it?

It is basically another knock off of the LT but a much better version of it. Thing is, it doesn't have the VW like the VAMO has to offer. A good friend of mine got one of these and his device does not get hot at all when heavily vaping. here is a review that is quite long but very in depth check it out.

A PBusardo Review - In Depth Chrome Lava Tube Comparison - YouTube

I'm just so frustrated, I've only had this thing since the 20th of Dec and it seems like it's already taking a turn for the worst. I just don't want it to get much later in the month to where he will not compensate me for a faulty device. My spring should be here in a few more days so I'll most likely end up waiting :cry:

Edit the young june version is the vector

I thought this was a problem at first but I also tried direct dripping on the coil as well and yielded no difference. 6-8 seconds with no response of a coil is a heck of a delay. I may get a VAMO in the future but for now I think I'm going with the bolt. I wish the coil would've hissed at me, but nothing. I would literally hear nothing for about 6-8 seconds and then would hear a firm pop, I knew then it was ready to puff. The thing I will truly miss the most on this device is the ohms reader... Looks like I'm going to need a multimeter ;)

I figured that I would update this thread..... Traded in the vamo for the bolt, and a few other items. Tim from Vaporbeast was nice enough to look out for me, trusting I had issues. Done with the VV scene for now

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. I love my Vamo.

But great choice in the Bolt. I love mine, and will continue to use it, along side my Vamo.

Amazingly enough I haven't had a single problem with my VAMO. I love the darn thing. My spring is heating up but, Health Cabin is sending me a new one via slow bannana boat from China. They say 20 to 30 days via Chinese Post. The have the new sping in stock and are sending replacements via their "Ticket" system. Seems to work, the responce was quick and helpful.
Of course now that I have mentioned how good it's working that will be the end of that.
