Untrue. Moving on.

The difference in vaping with a Vamo vs a KGO is simple. You can pop coils and get dry hits if you set it too high. You can tweak it up slowly and get a very nice very strong vape.

You'll probably want to step down your nicotine with the higher power if you ever use a rebuildable or end up with a tummy ache, but the 12mg should be perfect in a carto/clearo.

Your KGO vapes most carts/clearos around the neighborhood of 5 watts, so start there and work your way up 0.5 at a time until it tastes great and doesnt get too dry or hot. Most carts/clearos can pop above 8 watts. (8 watts is like a 1.3 ohm LR cart on a KGO, most LR doesnt go below 1.5 ohms for about 7.5 watts)

Technically you are correct. But you would have to significantly increase wattage in order to get meaningful vapor. I personaly tend to pay more attention to device setting when in voltage mode. So say i pop in a single coil delivery and my vamo was set on 12+ watts for the dual coil, i might forget to tone it down and...bam. Whereas if it was set on voltage i would have been more attentative. I guess i didn't word it correctly.

My supplier just got vamos in this week. I am gonna get one next week. I am using a bolt that I kicked. I am hesitant to try stacked batteries. My supplier says it hit harder when ya got stacked batts. I am vaping at 8 watts and thats hitting hard enough. Good luck with your vamo and welcome to ecf!!

Stacked batteries is never a good idea from what I heard, but if you must you need to charge them in pairs and drain them in pairs. If one has a slightly different chemical composition, it might drain faster and start stressing the other battery or vice-versa. I have an AGA-T+ stuck on my vamo (single 18650) with a single coil and it's not cutting short on power if I try to raise it for finding hot-spots.
Just speaking from my own experience, I haven't tried any stacking myself yet.

Well it arrived yesterday afternoon and by the time I charged the batteries and let them sit for an hour it was around 8:30PM. I don't notice a whole lot of difference between the Vamo and the KGO Rivas (1100 Mah) - but I am quite happy with it. I got the stainless Vamo.

I carry the KGO in a lanyard when I am out and about, and the Vamo does not fit - So I went online and purchased a new lanyard for it late last night - and also some new juice from the same company.

I have tried several different companies for juice and have not liked any of them except for the juice that comes from Northwest Vapors. When I ordered the Vamo, I also ordered a small bottle of their "wildberry" juice - and although it is 'vapeable'....I am really not thrilled with it.

I have since made juice orders from Mt. Baker Vapor as well as VapeDudes (Where I ordered the lanyard from last night) None of the 'new' juice has arrived yet, so I have no comment on any of them.

I am always very careful when ordering juice - I read the descriptions as well as the reviews. Despite being cautious, I find myself regretting going elsewhere. Even places that get rave reviews here at ECF.......I just find that I really don't care for them.......Some of them have even gone in the trash after a month (sometimes 2 months) of steeping. Some of these got rave reviews and what not - and I absolutely hated them. So much so that I would never even mix a few drops with something else to just use it up.

I am trying to find my perfect juice/juices. I THOUGHT I had that with Northwest vapors raspberry, pina colada and Strawberry OD. I LOVE those juices, but at 50/50 mix, they are just too thick and clog things up. Also.....having vaped those flavors solely, I have found that they have become 'boring' to my taste buds.

All of the new juices I ordered (the ones I have not received yet) are 70/30......Hopefully, that will make a good enough difference for me. If not, I may have to pick up some PG to thin them out further. I am not particularly worried about adding PG and decreasing the nicotine content as I typically order 12mg.....but have vaped 6MG as well as 0MG.

It will be nice when I find my perfect combo!!!!!! I have also tried a few DIY juices and was fairly happy with the outcome. (Meaning that I have not yet had to actually throw one of them out) I will eventually go that route solely in the future. But for now.......The hunt is still on!!!!!

Thank you all very much for your help, opinions and suggestions. I would have been lost without a good "starting point". I would have spent endless hours watching youtube videos and trying to decipher things on my own as a result.

So far.....My favorite setting is 9.0 on the Vamo. The flavor is definitely better with the Vamo than it was with the Riva.....but THAT could be a 'bad' thing if I get more juice that I really am not fond of!!!!!!!!

I should have the shipment from Mt. Baker Vapor by Monday.....I ordered 4 (I think) flavors.....hopefully at least one will be a 'hit'. I ordered 2 from VapeDudes - one of them I ordered 100% PG and higher nicotine content (16%) - I intend to use that juice (30 ml of coconut cream) to add to the 50/50 PG/VG mix of 12MG Pina Colada..............I am hoping to thin out the Pina Colada a bit and figued if I was going to mix it, I would need to have a higher nicotine content.......but now I am questioning that thinking.

If I add 16% (100% PG) to my existing 12MG 50/50 PG/VG.......will it be too much nicotine, or will it balance out???? Obviously, it will matter how much I add and what amount of Pina Colada I start with.

So say I start with 10 ML of 50/50 PG/VG at 12% nicotine.........and I add the 16MG 100%PG coconut cream with the intent to thin the Pina Colada out.........how much of the coconut cream should/can I add to it? Adding 16MG of nicotine to a mix that already has 12% will do what???? Increase OR decrease the nicotine content??????

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer!!!!!

The juices I ordered should be in today. Please, if anyone has any suggestions about adding juice (with a slightly higher nic content to existing juice) please let me know what you think. Please see above post for specific question.

Thank you!

(RoadKillCrayon) Lol, I like that name.
