I need to upgrade from my ego passthrough. I had my sights set on a vamo due to its cost/performance. Now this SVD is coming soon and will probably perform around the same level. The issues Im having is 1. its not available yet and I am having a really hard time waiting . 2. I have no idea what it will cost.

Do any of you have any estimate based on experiences with mods to even guess what it might cost?

Keep in mind I dont have batts or anything else to go with it so I might not be seeing the whole picture.

Perhaps some encouragement on how to be paitent:):)

PS
I wouldnt be purchasing the SVD without a Pbsuardo review first. I love that guy.

My guess would be it'll be quite a bit more, especially when released. They usually come down after a while of being released but I don't think it'll ever come down to the cost as a Vamo with what looks to be basically the same functionality minus the 18500 capability. I'd go for a Vamo and forget about it, I personally don't like the looks of it with one tube screwing over the other and I like the Vamos screen better but that's preference.

I am guessing the SVD with just the tube and clearos will be close to $80 but could be less as an MVP was anywhere from 55-70 depending on where purchased. I like what they have done with it but I would wait for final pricing and a true review. Hard to tell though, an itaste express is almost as much as just buying the MVP (device only) so I can't guess their pricing that well.

The other thing is the Vamo has hit most of it's growing pains already, the SVD might have a few. All told, I would wait about a month unless you have to (subjective of course) make your decision now.

there needs to be more posts on this thread. im debating the same question myself.. SVD or VAMO. i guess there wont be more info on the SVD till after Tet is over. Crazy Chinese celebrate new year for a whole week while we gotta suffer and or tolerate the week of nothing from China. .... Im sure this thread will see more activity soon and i look forward to more info on the SVD.

You can preorder them Vape - Innokin iTaste SVD
They have a coupon for 5%, think its "ecfreader".

Well that answers the question on price and timing. $69.99 and ships on March 4th.
I will wait until you experienced users have a chance to try it out and post tons of negative and positive opinions so I can't make up my mind. That's the only way I'll save money in this hobby.

Thing that draws my attention so far is the size. It's longer with a single 18350 than a Provari using a 18650. Using a 18650 or stacked 18350s it just about dwarfs everything out. If you don't mind the length it's definitely unique with its raised screen, button placement and adjustable tube. Personally I'd go with a Vamo, same functionality, shorter and cheaper.

Oh, Phil just did a review on it if you want to check it out.

I was considering the SVD...but the sideways screen and odd looking tube just did not sit right...SOOOOOOOo i got a VAMO...could not be happier.
I think with the VAMO being both VV and VW for peeps swiching from a twist or a standard 3.7 v batt to a mod gain better knowledge of the Wattage/Volt/Ohm relationship...for me the VAMO was a perfect tool to learn with, and delivered to my door from Exhalevapors.com for 40 bucks !! it was an easy choice.

I have had NO issues what so ever with mine.
