RMS mode is more accurate. Lots of threads about it. Google it.

You have to turn up the wattage as it's accurate now. Your pervious 4w is now 5w or 6w etc.

oh i see it is not a sutomatic do all mode i still adjust the power curve to what i like!!! It is awsome when the light bulb comes on!

On AVG mode 4.5 watts is probably vaping at 8 actual watts. On RMS mode you get pretty close to what you set so now you should be setting it to 7 to 8 watts, which is really where you were vaping at before when you were on AVG mode.

That's pretty low, IMO. I vape anywhere between 7 and 9 watts depending on atomizer and juice. But it is all personal preference.

If you were on AVG mode and you selected 4.5W, that's close to 6.5W in RMS mode. The conversion is AVG*sqrt(2).

That's the beauty of variable wattage. It takes out all the guesswork for ya. The device will adjust the voltage according to the resistance of whatever is attached to the device. Neat huh?

Don't over think it. Find a wattage you like and vape away. Enjoy!
