Hi fellow fans of Vamo,

I would like to know the differences between SS vamo and the chrome/gun metal grey?

What kind of Material wise for the chrome and gun metal??

I was rather confuse as per understanding from some thread, an adapter for 510 connection is required to protect the thread of the PV? True?

Any recommended site that ship internationally as I live in Singapore?

Thanks

E-cigs are not legal in Singapore and there have been posts on ECF indicating that the authorities can be particularly nasty about it. Unless you have a known reliable supplier I would suggest that you use Health Cabin, an ECF vendor with good customer service and a ton of experience with international shipping.

For reasons that mystify me, Health Cabin calls the VAMO the Bamboo, eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Brass Body-chrome or gun metal finish) and eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Stainless Body). I would use Health Cabin's ticket system to ask what shipping method they would suggest that is most likely to make it through Singapore customs.

Some people have had issues with their VAMO threads but I haven't with either of mine (my stainless version came from Health Cabin). However, you will need a 510 to eGo adapter (HC seems to calling it a 510/eGo to eGo/510) to use a Kanger T3 and/or a 510 to 510(with hole) if you just want to protect your threads, Ecig Multi Adapters.

The carriers have been fussy about shipping batteries for Health Cabin so you might want to order batteries and a charger through FastTech. They have a few vaping items and some juice but it would probably be best to forego those to help prevent any customs issues. Use TENOFF coupon code for a 5% discount.

The gun Metal and chrome are plated copper from what I've seen. The plating will wear in time and will probably be most notable on the gun metal, especially on the main buttons. The Stainless is stainless... including the buttons.

I recommend an adapter to save the vamo threads if you're going to be constantly swapping delivery devices. Totally up to you.

I just saw on health cabin. Sigelei Mechanical Telescopic Mod (Recommendation for Veteran)

Anyone tried?

Looking for the 2nd one to be a spare in event of my vamo break down.

In my personal opinion, I would go with the vamo over that....for 1 it is just vv, not vv/vw....you can't stack the batteries with that like you can on the vamo (well you can but put your device, as well as yourself, at risk of blowing your batteries and possibly doing some damage to your device and/or self).....vamo is self regulates voltage when in wattage mode, vamo has rms(avg) mode (mode: no 2) as well as mean mode(mode: no 1)....the list goes on but that should be sufficient enough...and to not sound like a vamo fanboy I'm just making a comparison since he said he was looking at a vamo....

If you are interested this is where I got my vamo from Home | Vaporescence .... Came with 2 18350's, battery charger, and 1 clearos? For some reason... for $65....

The chromes are plated brass not copper.

The Sigelei you are looking at is strictly a mechanical mod. You just get a tube that adjusts in length and mechanical switch. It has no electronics of any kind in it—no variable voltage nor variable wattage. That means to adjust the temperature of your vape that it will be necessary to change the ohms of your juice delivery device.

A second VAMO will be the least expensive backup device with both VW and VV that you will likely find. If you want the telescoping feature of the Sigelei you can get an Innokin SVD which is a VW/VV device. Innokin seems to be currently backed up orders so it might be awhile before they are widely available.

Thanks for the detail explanation.

I got you. Thanks mate

Yes, my Panasonics from Fast Tech came with a plastic case.

As advertise it states Panasonic however I just receive my cells today, there is no indication of 'Panasonic' on the battery itself. It's grey packed with printed 'made in Japan' not sure if its supposingly to be like this though

Do the FastTech batteries come with the case?

Yes it comes with a hard clear carry case. Neat and tidy

As well as getting Panasonics from Fast Tech I have Panasonics from Orbtronic and nHaler who are both highly reliable vendors. None of them have the Panasonic name on them. Vapor Joe has been mentioning Fast Tech quite frequently as a source for batteries which generates a ton of business in the vaping community. I would expect that if there was anything at all amiss with Fast Tech's Panasonics we would have heard about it.

Noted. So far the batteries are fine, no overheating during charging

Health Cabin is an extremely popular vendor for international customers. They have excellent customer service and a link to their ECF forum is on their front page. For reasons I totally do not understand they call the VAMO the Bamboo. Fast Tech has a VAMO kit although I wouldn't expect much from the batteries, charger or fake Vivi Novas.

Vapor Break sells the VAMO for a very cheap price but it doesn't appear as though they check their stock for obvious quality control issues before sending merchandise to customers. Also, their customer service is atrocious should something be amiss.

E-cigs are illegal in Singapore and, from what I gather on ECF, the authorities are extremely aggressive and nasty about enforcing the law.

Vapor Skinz sells VAMO wraps.
