vamo question?

Hi, Been using a vamo for about a month and keep getting a nasty taste. I've had it on a kanger pro tank and vivi nova on it but keep getting a nasty taste.

If i put it on one of my old batteries or vv units on, it works ok. DO i have a faulty vamo?

One thing you could try.

Hold down the right button for a long time it will show ohms of your device but keep holding it and eventually it will show either NO 1 or NO 2. If it shows NO 1 do the hold down thing again until it says NO 2. If it shows NO 2 you should be good to go.

No 1 is AVG mode and No 2 is RMS. You want to be in RMS much less of the burnt nasties in it.

I'm not patronizing you with these questions but first thing I'd check is it is in RMS (NO2) mode. Press and hold either the up or down button for about 10 seconds - make sure it's set on NO2 mode.

Are you using it on VV or VW mode? How many?

How many ohms is your coil / head?

Hi, tried on mode 1 and 2, still the same. Switched from watt to volt, still the same?

push one of the buttons until it shows you the ohms of your device and let us know what that number is

There are charts of recommended volts/watts for certain ohms levels you might just have it set in a way that causes this.

you should be vaping between
about 3.4 volts and 4.7 volts
or
about 4.1 watts and 8 watts

What I do is start low on the range and then slowly increase until I start getting a hint of the nasty taste then back down one notch.
