Healthcabin is shipping from China, and want 16 bux EMS. mention that next time..

Who are you talking to? Health Cabin shipping by DHL is what I used and it is no more expensive than shipping from US suppliers. In fact cheaper than some of them.
With DHL my order arrives in 3 days. When I get stuff shipped from the US it takes 2-3 weeks.

Received mine today from Health Cabin after 3rd attempt by DHL. I wasn't in town for couple of days. Should have received it last Friday. Anyway mine does remember the setting after changing batteries, comes with upgraded spring and ROHS & CE logo. The extension tube has a slightly different finish (more matte) compare to the body. Overall I'm happy with it, this is my 2nd APV after my earlier YJ Lavatube. Now have to get some 18350's to use for the short mode :)

Nice timing Shahzh. You know to get IMRs right? (Just mentioned it as some folk didn't know)

midwest
It took three days from the time I placed my Health Cabin order for it to get to the metropolitan airport in the middle of the midwest using DHL. Unfortunately, DHL's courier service is a total snow wimp. They put my shipment on a weather hold Friday because we got a couple of inches of snow. UPS, FedEx and USPS were all delivering. My order should be here tomorrow unless the courier service is terrified of driving in cloudy weather.

Got mine from Healthcabin yesterday, the 22nd. Placed the order on Monday the 17th and chose EMS. Says its a V2 but has a cheesy weak spring. However, it does have the positive top post gasket and does remember wattage settings when the batt is removed. Also has the writing on the tube. Another thing I noticed is that one of the +/- buttons is not as "clicky" as the other or the fire button. Kinda mushy. Works but little stuff like that drives me nuts. Just though I'd mention it.

Edit: 12/24/12

After reading a few posts on the Vamos from Healthcabin I noticed everyone was mentioning an extra spring being sent to them with the device so I double checked the envelope it came in and what do ya know? They sent a much thicker, heavy duty replacement spring. Once installed there is absolutely no rattle with my 18650 or 18350 flat top batts. Glad I didn't throw it out because of my carelessness.

Now I'm kinda wishing I ordered my Vamo from HC using DHL instead of EMS. Placed the order on Tuesday and it still says "Despatch from Sorting Center" from Xiamen. Maybe it's because we're in the middle of the holidays but I hope to get it soon!

I ordered mine on Monday the 17 and got it Saturday the 22nd. It stayed in that "Dispatch" mode for 3 days. Then it changed to arrived at the sorting facility in New York and I got it the next day and I'm in North Carolina. Don't believe those updates. I think they're inaccurate. Yours might have a day delay because of the holiday but I'll bet you'll get it either tomorrow or Thursday.

    No you can't
have mine today...doesn't work. put in two efest 18350 batteries that I charged. clicked 5,6,7 times and the lcd doesn't light up. I can barely see the volts change. sucks.

The light on screen dose not light up when pushing the big on/off puffing button.
    Only the small buttons light.
Exception to the rule, turning vamo on/off.

I'm using a 2.0 ohm carto with no problems going from 3 to 5.5 watts so far.

If your using carto make sure the bottom pin on carto is making contact.
To trun on my vamo, I have to click it very fast.
make sure batteries are fully charged and inserted the right way.
    Pre prime carto's.

Did you take a look at the user manual on this forum, I printed one out for myself.

Haven't used tank setup, I want to see the difference with flavors.

That's the problem. It's not lighting up at all when I attempt to turn it on. It's like the LCD display is already burnt out. meh...

My first was/is a V1 chrome Vamo from okcvapes bought early on before the buzz got huge. Short spring, no gasket (I made one from electrical tape), reverts to 3.0 watts after battery disconnect.

Second is a V2 chrome VAMO from Healthcabin (which calls it an eGo Variable Volt/Watt). Longer spring, with gasket, remembers wattage setting when changing batteries. Also snagged a second end cap with the longer spring for my V1. Only cost a buck or so.

I'm not a big fan of the chrome (or the black chrome, either). Too cold, too slippery, and a fingerprint magnet. So, I downloaded the skin template and ordered two sample 4 x 8" sheets of 3M adhesive vinyl with a nice nubby pattern that looks like black carbon fiber. Cheap from eBay. Only $2.50 shipped, and enough skin to do about six VAMOs. Or two with my learning curve and x-acto hole cutting skills. LOL.

I run both in single 18350 mode. The trade-off of shorter length (which I prefer), but reduced vape time between recharges is fine for me. What the heck, an 18350 high-drain lasts 4-5 hours in the VAMOs, which is an hour or so more than an 18350 in my Kicked Bolt and an hour or so less than the 18500 in my other Kicked Extended Bolt.

can you throw up some links for what you used for this? looking for the skins and the template. Thanks.
