Got my Vamo in today... really enjoying it, although my 2.8ohm vivi reads 3.1 still a gooood vape w/ it.

Yeah, this is the case with most of the Vivi heads. They read higher than what they are marked as. (...and this is not due to the Vamo being off. I personally know people with Provaris and other mods that all read the Vivi heads as higher than they're marked ohms.)

My chrome V2 Vamo arrived today!! Was stalking the mail lady waiting for it. LOL Purchased from CigTechs (they call it VAMU). Appears to have the O-ring battery post seal, flimsy long spring, V on bottom cap, and the CE markings etc, remembers watts on batt change. Am loving this thing tho already. Have been filling up the room with :vapor: playing with it since this afternoon. Hopefully the finish will last awhile, don't want it looking like my sb which is in serious need of a wrap.
Take care all and happy vapin!!

finally got mine from vapor break i ordered in early december. chrome, remembers wattage, doesnt warm up. threw an Aga-T on it with a wrie mesh. works great!! for some reason though, most of my delrin drip tips are too loose on the aga-t. had had to double the o-ring to adjust the hole placement.
Congratulations! Eventually! You must be soooo Relieved! I was starting to worry about your Rambo threats.:D
Aga-T issues:-
Fastest Fix: use second o-ring - only make sure you get replacements.
Fast Fix: take o-ring off, wrap groove with some dental floss replace o-ring works with driptips too.
Technical Fix: sand bottom on a flat surface, but check often so it doesn't over shoot

meli., thanks. i read about these fixes already. not gonna sand though. rather adjust. they made the damn hole so it lines up with a regular wick, not a mesh one on the opposite side. should of just made it with a pop top, not a screw in. im sure it will get revised, but i wish some of these companies that make stuff do it right the first time, instead of going through 3 revisions to get obvious stuff right after botching stuff.

I bought a Vamo a couple of weeks ago I guess it was. My partner promptly stole it. No problems with it so far. It survived a hard drop on pavement and all in all, she loves it. I do find/think it hits harder than my lavatube. It shouldn't but it sure seems to. For the price, we couldn't be happier with it.

Make sure the VAMO is in NO2-rms mode. If it is in NO1-avg/mean you could experience that.

I think the VAMO will turn out to be the game changer....fleas and all its a winner...and our numbers keep going up...that means companies will have to step up from there same mod for year...have to look at realistic priceing...its hard to ignore a large number of people singing the vamo song. and of course our $$

No doubt. This is my first PV and I doubt I will buy another unless it's a Vamo. The price point is great, the feature set is great, the LCD is great, the buttons are great and a nice mod without an angled top. I seriously hate the angled top mods. They look so funny with a tank sitting on top like a skirt shooting out over the edges.

Being a nerd 1st - other mods are FAR too overpriced for what they do. The Vamo is in the right place in terms of general technology pricing for what it brings to the table.

I have an interesting issue. I noticed yesterday that the fire button was much easier to push and was no longer very tactile. Then I realized that it also slanted to one side when I would push it. At that point I saw the up/down buttons. The down button is pushing out as far as it will go and the up button is pushing in all the way. Everything still functions fine, it just bothers me. I am thinking I might have to take the vamo apart and re-align the board inside.

Also it has only been dropped hard twice, but knocked over numerous times when sitting on my desk at work.

Hey all,

I just took a quick look at mine and it is almost the same as yours Akward and I have only had mine a couple of days. It definately came that way but I never really noticed it, but all works fine so probably not going to mess with it. Left button is way up, right button alittle recessed, fire button pretty much squared in there fine. Mine was never dropped or anything so hopefully this won't be an issue.

Take care all and happy vapin!! :D

Same here but opposite buttons. Left is recessed and "clicky" while the right is much more pronounced and less "clicky".

After watching this video, it looks like the board must have just turned a little bit inside of the mod. If you skip to around 3:45 seconds that is when he is pulling the board from the mod. Maybe if I get bored this weekend I will try and fix mine and then super glue the half circle plastic thing into place to stop this from happening again.

Awkwardly here is a easier way to fix, first take off lower tube then with a pair of needle nose pliers grip the positive connection and rotate until the button pops out all the way.Mine was doing the samething because the top was loose what i did is put a socket on top and tap with rubber mallet to seat it all they way down hope this helps.
