Vamo v2 and Efest 18350

I received my Vamo v2 4 weeks ago and tested it with a couple of Trustfire 18650s I still had lying around.
I decided I liked the shorter 18350 config better and ordered 4 Efest 18350 800 mAh IMR v2 (with nipple) batteries from efestbattery.
I've used them for a couple of cycles now and I'm very disappointed. I can't even vape 1.5ml from my Vivi Nova 2.4 Ohm @ 7W
Is this normal or do my batteries have an extremely short cycle?

I get a FULL day of vaping from that same 18350 using a Vamov3. That comes out to ~3ml of juice plus for me.

I have an evic with a shorty tube for the 18350 battery. I get about 5-6 hours of use. About 2 mls.

Wow, those are totally different figures from what I'm getting out of them. My batteries must be faulty

The other variable is the charger. They should be coming off that at 4.15 to 4.2 volts, but that's not the whole story. Have a look here for more info on charging lithium ion batteries. There is a saturation charge part of the charge cycle which has to be done correctly.

You could check by charging other batteries to see if they are also giving less performance than they should. The problem is I have no idea how good your Trustfire 18650s are.

Thanks, that was an interesting read.
But if I understand correctly the saturation charge would only mean a 15% difference?
Even if I add that to my vaping time I don't think I would get close to 2ml on 1 charge.

Tony, did you order them at the same place as I did?

I got them from myvaporstore.com at the same time I ordered my Vamo.
I put a fresh battery in yesterday afternoon, vaped almost a full 3ml tank, (I work nights) and it's reading 3.3v right now.

And I JUST got the LowV warning as soon as I sent that. lol Fresh battery is reading 4.2v.

Mine was ab AW IMR 18350 700mah
I only charge via the USB into the evic head. I don't use a batt charger device.

Thanks for the responses so far.
My 18350 charger is one of those cheap 1-cell chargers which plugs directly into an outlet.
I've ordered a Nitecore i4 so let's see if that makes any difference.
