VAMO V2 Batteries

I ordered a V2 from fasttech and it came with 1 battery. So I ordered 2 more from Amazon. Amazon.com: Two Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries QTY 2: Electronics

They don't work in my VAMO V2. They look exactly like the battery that came with my V2 but when I charged them and put them in my V2 it wont even turn on... What batteries do I need to buy for the V2?

Must be bad batteries. I have a few of those exact batteries and they work great in my VAMO.

Look up inside the Vamo, take off as many tubes as you can. You should be able to see the center pin on the pcb, around that pin is a rubber/silicone/whatever it's made of washer. Check to be sure that washer is flat and centered, and not interfering with the battery contacting the pin.

What do you mean take off as many tubes as I can? I can see the center pin, and the washer is flat and centered the battery that came with the VAMO works fine.

There was no plastic wrap on the battery, they came in a box in between foam. The batteries fully charged no problem to answer the other guy.

Edit: Nevermind realized what you meant by take off as many tubes as you can. Had a brainfart there.

Is it possible that the green and black sleeve they put on the battery is sitting to high and preventing the pin from contacting the battery? And if so would it be a bad idea to cut off some of the sleeve? I am at work right now and didn't bring one with me, hopefully the battery I have with me doesn't die today!

Could they have sent protected batteries by mistake? If so they will not work in the vamo. I have been using the ncr18650b in mine for the last year with no problems. Possibly they are just bad batteries.

If they were bad would they still charge? I put them in my Nitecore charger and they fully charged without a hitch. Put one in my VAMO and it wouldn't work. Didn't try the second one though.

Charger is fine, its brand new and has charged my other battery without a problem.

What is a reputable site or vendor to buy from? The vendor the ones I bought from on Amazon was a brand new Vendor. Would like to not run into this problem again. Also is there a distinct visual difference between the protected and non protected ones?

Those batteries come in Unprotected and Protected. "Sometimes" protected batts don't play nice with APVs as the Mod has it's own protection circuitry. Kinda the same as having 2 anti virus progs running on a PC.
Just a crazy shot in the dark...are the batteries in backwards?

Batteries are not in backwards, and any site other then Fasttech? I ordered my VAMO from them and it took 2 months to get here.
