Well on most forums more people complain about what is wrong rather than what is right. I don't know your situation but as cheap as they are go for it. I did at least it isn't as expensive as the LT knock off I paid for that lasted a week and a half. I just wanted to check out a vw device. Still not sure why anyone would want one but I'm going to give it a try at that price. And when I have one I can say without a doubt why I like my ProVari better.

The only negative comment was not on the released version from KSD, and the poster basically recanted with a story of a friend buying one from ivape and it didn't have the shut-off problem. And that problem was just impatience. If you watched that video, the screen was still scrolling, so it wasn't fully off.

Anyway, here's that thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/428099-anyone-run-out-grab-vamo-v3-yet.html

If you don't mind the new look, V3 does have pluses, like the OLED screen and the removable top cap. It would have been perfect if it came with a spring-loaded firing pin, but it's getting there :)

I just got my V2 SS from FT. I cannot speak for the V3, but I do like that it has an OLED screen and removable top. The swirl pattern doesn't disgust me either although I don't see that it is availible in SS which I do care about. I've only had mine a couple of days, but I really like it and it has performed fine so far. I ordered the kit with the Nitcore charger and two 18650's, then I ordered a couple of 18350's from another vendor as I like to run it in shorty mode with my atty.

So since you already know you will find fault with the Vamo or any VW model PV, it makes so much sense to buy one. I wish I had so much money that I could buy a PV just to trash it on a forum.

Tbh i have three vamo v2 SS, chrome & chrome black, bought them due to them being a cheap mod,so if one breaks, gets dropped, wouldn't be upset.(also to protect my Provari, silly i know)
Although the looks of the vamo are not great,(i think better in 18350 mode), the v3 just doesn't appeal.
If i had to replace would personally buy another v2 SS.
