I got mine a couple weeks ago.

Free-cigs has them in stock still for anyone wanting one. They are in the US.

Vamo V4 (KSD - Stainless Steel)

I have 2 of the black chrome v2's with black carbon fiber jwraps on them for taking a beating at the racetrack. One SS v2 with a Darth Vader wrap on it for my kid and the SS v4 with the grey carbon fiber wrap on it for everyday use. Diggin the OLED on the v4.

Since you're the first one I've seen to actually get one I have a question. Is the top cap removable like the V3 or is it the same as the V2 making it problematic if not able to use some of the eGo threaded devices?

This is interesting...

I'm having an awful time with my V2 using ego mega carts from smoktek. The carts act like the threading on the Vamo is stripped, but it isn't. I have to shove down on the cart while screwing it on to get the cart to thread onto the Vamo.

1) Is anyone else having this problem?

2) Is there a fix for it?

Any ideas?

Many thanks...

So my vamo v3 has arrived from FT for a few days now, putting it through its paces. Like others have said the finish isn't nearly as dildoy as in pictures.

I noticed that the underside of the control head where the battery makes contact has a fairly big opening, i can see the circuit board. It's not the end of the world, its working exactly as its supposed to and as a cheaper entry level vv/vw im totes satisfied.

Just wondering if anyone elses v3 has its brains hanging out.
