Vamo v5 as first mod? what else do I need?

hey gurus. I think i decided on the VV5 as my first mod.. I want something thats vw and can check resistance.. I know I will need a few batts and a charger, whats the best performing, safest option for 18350s and 18650s? also, with mods, is it best to make your own coils? Right now im using a nautilus and a mini pro tank 3, I have been pretty happy with both, however, I do like the looks of the Kayfuns. just not sure what they entail. Anyways, for a VV/VW mod around 50 bucks I thought this was a pretty slid option, if you have another suggestion please dont hesitate to let me know! I was ideally looking for something that was VW and passthrough but I came up short.

I'd give the Sieg Zmax a good look. I have one and it's a good solid mod.

Many of us like RTD Vapor for batteries. You really don't want to pinch pennies on them, and RTD is a reliable source for high quality ones. AW and Efest, Sony, Samsung are all good.

I use Xtar chargers, Nitecore is another good line there.

If you go with a Kayfun, get some AWG 28 Kanthal A1 (or 30) for your coils. Cellucotton is the latest "rage" for wick, and does a great job. Otherwise, cotton will work fine.
