Vamo V5 vs. iTaste VTR

I have had my Vamo V5 for about a month and vape it very now and then. I usually use my MVP more than the vamo. My buddy wants to buy my Vamo V5 from me for $65 (I only paid $50 for it ). I found the itaste VTR for $65 on ebay. So I was wondering, should I sell my vamo and get the vtr? Is the vamo or vtr better in overall performance/looks/durability?

If you prefer to use your box MVP over the Vamo then Id bet youd prefer the VTR over the Vamo.

One thing to consider though is the VTR atomizer ring at the top of the device. If you decide to go with the VTR plan on either filing/dremeling the ring out a bit ,or even removing it so you can use larger tanks. If you are willing to do that Id say the VTR wins hands down.

VTR is highly recommended, great device. Just keep in mind that vs the MVP it is much heavier, a little bigger, you'll need batteries that won't last as long, and can't use it as a pass through or charging device. If any of these things bother you to the degree that you don't end up using it as much - well you'll need to judge whether or not if it will become a door stop or you'd use it more then the Vamo.

Well if he's a friend, I'd say sell it to him for what you paid for it - but that's just me.

As others have said, the VTR is a pretty hefty device, $65 is not a bad price at all.

Overall performance, you'll not see much difference between it and your Vamo though - similar specifications. So apart from the limitations because of the tank ring (which as has been suggested you can remove or modify) it pretty much comes down to which device you prefer the looks of.

I don't know if there is a B&M close to you so you can go and see / touch / feel one in person.

I'm in the process of getting a VTR from the classifieds, and I'm pretty excited for it.

I had strongly looked into the Vamo, but those regulated tube mods are ridiculously long in 18650 mode; I just don't need that in public. You're looking at 9 inches of vape magic if you throw a Kayfun on top!

The thing looks pretty compact and lovely, especially with a modified top ring and RBA.

It also uses a slightly higher frequency of PWM than the Vamo. It's not the Provari's 800 hertz, but it's a bit better than 33.3.

But maybe that's just me justifying my decision :)
