First off, dont know why I wasnt able to post on the Vamo specific forum so if the mods want to move this feel free.

Anyway so I got a new vivi nova tank for my Vamo, and when I screw it down, the tank is sitting slightly to an angle. Its not much but its noticeable (in my eyes at least) I dont want to chance ruining the threads on the vamo, is there any fix for this? I tried searching and didnt find anything about it, so sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Do other devices sit flush on the vamo? If not ... you might have some iffy threading on your vamo

If they do ... check to make sure the bottom of the nova tank is lined up. Ive dropped mine before and the bottom cap of the nova had become crooked. I applied pressure and gave it a few wiggles to get the bottom cap back to norm.

I used a Kanger T3 w/ the 510-ego adapter and it sits straight/flush. Is it safe to try and straighten the tank while still on the vamo? or should I just try to straighten the tank itself before I break something lol

I had mine on the Vamo when I straightened mine out. That 510 connection on the vamo is built like a tank.

Lol ok I'll try and do some work on it when I get home. I just needed that assurance that I wont be messing up the threads if I tried to realign the tank with the vamo lol. Thank you!

same thing happens on my wildfire device....the nova wouldn't sit straight...i'd straighten it and then bump it, it was a hassel, eventually it wouldn't sit straight and wouldn't tighten on the device but would still fire...if u wiggled the device though the nova got really loose...however a carto tank goes on the device fine

and the nova sits flush on other devices......so it could just be your nova isn't screwing in deep enough to the vamo...not really sure but it is a hassel

Actually for me it is the Vamo threads- funny just to read this as i just spent 30 mins straightening out my vamo top. I used an old vivi Nova tank and screwed it right in tight and then slowly applied pressure with the Vivi tank in my fist -risky manoeuvre to be honest but I have straightened out the top -it is still not perfect but much better than before -good luck :) The tech in the Vamo is excellent but build quality leaves a lot to be desired :-(
