For 10 mls.
Maxx Blend 0.5 mls.
Oakwood 0.25 mls.
Vanilla Bourbon 0.25 mls.
For 10 mls.
Maxx Blend 0.5 mls.
Oakwood 0.25 mls.
Vanilla Bourbon 0.25 mls.
Gave it a go, either my atty is screwed up or the oakwood had a really floral taste. I substituted the oakwood with Bavarian creme, very tasty. If anyone has any other thoughts I'm all ears, R & D is half the fun.
So is this a pretty good juice? I have all the flavors and my wife is in love with this vanilla tobacco we get from our local B&M, it is very strong flavoring but it's expensive and I would love to be able to make something she'll like myself.
I like it, i think it is a nice strong flavor, you could always make it stronger than 10% if the first batch isn't quite there. I'm thinking of tweaking the the Bav. Creme up and the Van. Bourban down to try and make it a little creamier. I would love other's input.
OK, i think I have ruined myself, tried using my purchased juice that I was trying it imitate, had no flavor and was bitter....... looks like I am DIY from now on.
Found out the vanilla Bourbon is oil based. I will post my results of the tweaking without it. Boomerdude do you use many flavors that are oil based? I thought they were not good for the lungs?
That's not quite right. It is diacetyl that is bad for your lungs. You can use some, I repeat, some oil based concentrates if they are diacetyl free. You will need to mix them with alcohol or PG. Make sure they're USDA approved. Most concentrate vendors have water based concentrates you can use. In the rare case where there is no water based flavor or you prefer the taste of an oil based concentrate, you can get by, by doing the research on the flavor. WL Madagascar Vanilla Bourbon is water based and I would be lost without that particular concentrate as I use it a lot.
Come to find out the vendor substituted the vanilla bourbon they showed on their site with Flavor apprentice's, I don't believe it is oil based, what ingredient do they list if it is oil based?
Tried the Bavarian Cream and yeah. definitely need to reduce the Vanilla Bourbon. So I went back to the original recipe with the Oakwood but raised the Maxx to 075 ml. Seems to be better balanced now. Next I'll try subbing the Vanilla Bourbon with Madagascar Vanilla.
Madagascar Vanillin is just Vanilla plain and simple, no Bourbon. Big difference in their respective taste.
Boomer, did you get a chance to try the Madagascar vanilla, mine hasn't come in yet?
We're having nomenclature confusion. There's two different concentrates Vanilla Bourbon and Vanillin. The vendor may show the same little pic or icon but they're different. A lot of vanilla is exported by Madagascar and aficionados say it's the best. So if it says bourbon anywhere in it's description it's not what I'm talking about when I say pure vanilla or vanillin.
I haven't had a chance to mix anything due to a computer problem. I'm awaiting a part and when I install it and hopefully repair the main computer I can access my files and recipe's.

Aqua Vapor Vanillia, needs to be about twice as strong. Can just taste and smell a little vanilla
V2 Vanillia Carts, very weak only bought them cause I need new carts
Lorann's Vanilla Butternut Flavor is what I was thinking of getting, at the Wizards Lab site out of the 5 vanilla's they have, that one is the only one out of stock vanilla. So I assume they sell it the most and its the best they sell, is that right?
I want a vanilla I can taste and smell. Vanilla ice cream would also be a smell/taste I would be ok with.
