Vapage VMOD Bottom Feeder - All Ocelot’s Fault!

~ Hey Vapor Dudes & Dudettes: A while back I posted about Glass tanks for Volatile eLiquids. I got some great responses but I wasn’t to hip about the Frosted Looking Poly tanks? I received some responses from Ocelot she spoke about a reply from Baditude and basically threw me under the bus with it! So I went back to the info he posted and to look again at those Poly Tanks and well Ocelot & Baditude were right and I ended up purchasing a few of those Poly Tanks.

~ But here’s the Kicker while at that website I saw the Vapage VMOD Bottom Feeder I’ve seen many of them that folks have posted here on ECF showing off Proudly all they have and the VMOD has always caught my eye but I kept saying to myself, “Self why don’t you wait and get yourself one of those Custom Wood Bottom Feeder Mods!” I would agree with Myself and would say, “Self you are right I will hold off!” But this day was different I was feeling a bit sore from crawling out from under that bus so I took some time looking it over more!

~ So Yeah you figured it out I ended up getting one and it’s all Ocelot’s Fault! After seeing you could purchase other Bodies for it in all those Great Colours I just had to try it! Well, it’s my New Favorite Vapor Device! It’s small just a tiny bit smaller then the Gripper has the built in bottle and with an extra battery in a plastic carrying case can last me all day! Its Light Weight much Stronger then the Gripper and just as Stealthy! And it’s all Ocelot’s Fault! Did I say it was Ocelot’s Fault!??

~ OK, So I’ve been giving this thing a real work out and I can’t find any fault with it? Sure I could nick pick it and Yeah I thought maybe it not being Variable Voltage might get in the way but No! It Vapes like there is No Tomorrow! I purchased extra tanks for it so I can swap out and man I am Super Happy with this little device! They gave me an option on a Flavor of ejuice with it so I thought I would try their Honey Badger Blue. I had heard a couple folks here say something about it so…

~ Wow! Was I surprised! This stuff is Great! I don’t even know how to describe it? Being a True Camel Filter Lover this stuff hits me real good and with a very pleasant after taste! It’s really growing on me! Of all my tobacco flavors this one is Now at the top of the list! And it’s all Ocelot’s Fault! I put some in my Mini Vivi Nova with the VV eGo Twist and other then a little more Vapor the taste is the same so all around getting thrown under the bus wasn’t so bad after all! Thank You Ocelot I never thought I would ever thank some one for throwing me under a bus but Yes Ocelot, Thank You!!

~ Thanks Baditude: Ha ha ha ha ha! That’s Right it’s all her fault! You know I’m playing here a little bit but it sure would not have happened unless Ocelot called me on it and made me go back and look at what You had put out there so Yeah, I’m having a little fun with it but it was Your info that got me to where I was! And that’s the thing here! All of You Good People that help out all us New Know Nothings keep us from wasting money over and over again! A good 90% of what I have acquired since joining this forum has come from You and the Good Folks here that take their time out to school us in the right direction and looky here I got steered into a direction that I found something I’m really enjoying nothing planned just stumbled on basically from being called to the carpet from Ocelot!

~ I have copied much of your information that I can go back and go over when the time is right and even with this decision I went back and looked over what you and others have said about it before I purchased! I have gone a little crazy adding to the arsenal but with a little restraint I have added some great products that I’m really happy with! I can’t imagine were I would be if I had not found this Forum I’m sure there would have been a lot of wasted dollars on worthless items so I am Greatly Thankful for all the Help You, Ocelot and All the Others that take time out of their lives to help us out! I Truly Mean That! And of course it’s all Ocelot’s Fault!

~ But getting all serious now this Little Bottom Feeder is Quite Nice! They definitely put some thought in building it using less parts in its design to make it work! The finish is real nice it very simplistic in its design which I see being a payoff down the road with reliability! Being able to purchase other bodies in such beautiful colors was a great selling point! To be able to change up to what ever color suits you! The only thing I could see would be going Variable Voltage at some point but then it would probably take away from it stealthyness? The Vapage VMOD Bottom Feeder is Really a Neat Little Mod! It would be nice to hear from others who have had it a while what they're impressions are with it now? Anyone??? I know there are a lot of real nice Mods out there but this thing for what it is and how it works is Pretty Damn Nice!

I've never owned a bottom feeder box mod. I was never a dripper vapor, so perhaps that is why. But it occured to me that some of the thicker e-liquids such as Boba's Bounty have given juice delivery devices that use any kind of wicking fits. So, what vaping devices use no wicking material? Direct dripping atomizers! That's essentially what a bottom feeder mod does, but with a built-in tank. I'm such a genius!

~ Well, see there you go! I got myself a couple of Drippers first the Phoenix then the Octopus both work real well just as advertised. But what I didn’t like about em was that they don’t hold that much eJuice! It started to be Kind of a Drag constantly feeding em! Just My 13cents Worth! But then they aren’t supposed to hold much!

~ So when I read more about the Vapage VMOD the more I liked it you could use the standard Bottom Feed Cartomizers with it or the Vapage AMG Hybrid Bottom-Feeder Atomizers. The Hybrids are just that and they Vape Awesomely! Is that actually a word? But it does describe it well! Even with my Heavy on the VG eJuice! They are Kinda Spendy but Hell They Work & Work Well! I guess if you stay on top of em maintenance wise they should last!

~ Now speaking of Boba’s Bounty what’s up over there at Alien Visions eJuice? I have tried to put in an order going on two weeks now with No Luck? I’ve been wanting to try this Famous Boba’s Bounty, Gorilla Juice & Gamel but every time I place an order it says Orders Closed Reopen @ 8am every time??? Maybe you could shed some light on that or if not maybe someone else can?

Hey Skullman, I'm happy you survived the under the bus incident I got my Vmod about a month ago and still love it. I'm happy to report that the pinky finger cramps have gone away when I changed how I was holding it.

I’m liking the VMOD so much I want another for my two everyday Vaping Juices! It’s so simplistic in its workings yet delivers so much! I like the size of the Mini Vivi Nova’s so I’m topping them off a couple times a day no need to with this VMOD!

Ive been thinking about the Vmod for my Boba's. Even with my Gennies i still have to tilt the hell out of the thing to chain vape.

Im looking at the small one. How much did you spend on it? I would prefer to be able to use it with a rebuildable dripper to save on replacement atties.

Hey Kanj: I got the last small one from Vapor Phoenix there regular price was $99 I got the Kit at a sale price they are not going to carry the VMOD anymore they say that Vapage wants to Retail the VMOD’s themselves they still have some of the XL models on sale for $99 but I’m not interested in the larger model. I don’t see why you couldn’t use any Bottom Feeding Atty you want with it. I got extra of what they sold for replacement so I can at least use it for a while till I figure what Rebuildable I will eventually use with it!
