Before you even put it on your atty, blow it out through the battery connection, then dry burn it until you see the coils starting to glow. OR (and this is easier & more effective), soak it in vodka for a few minutes, blow or shake the excess off, then dry burn (or burn with VG, VG/PG, menthol etc) until you see the coils starting to glow. It won't take long, and then your atty will be ready for vaping (be cautious the first few puffs, that primer can be a tenacious![]()
If I do send Mom a kit with some attys, I'm guessing she'll definitely have to do the vodka soak and shake method; I don't think she's got it in her to blow out the atty. You think I should also get her a lanyard so she can do the Taryn Spin?
Reidus, I've had way better luck with the EgoC atty system.. much more user friendly, I find. It does use little cartridges that you put the juice in, just pop the cartridge down into the cone and it's just that easy. I don't think I've ever had a dry hit from it. And I'm still using the first two atty heads I opened when I got the thing. I just clean them in my jewelry cleaner with water and just a touch of baking soda and they're good to go again. Cheeky's been trying to get me to try drip shields and all that forever and I've avoided it..
